Hmmm…how likely it is that the majority of the Kickstarter money for Tropes vs Women videos went to press like Kotaku?
Wait…so he compared those who are against video game journalism corruption to ISIS and then played along with Anita by sending her death threats?
Who was that person though? Was it recently made account or hired person?Too bad the only way to find out is to ask authorities if someone named Sarkeesian has called them to find out if tweets were fake or real.
Well, considering how Kotaku covers her, I wouldn’t be surprised if she has something similar to Quinn going on.
Why the hell would anyone want to defend a scam artist?
I could browse things much better than in November. The only problem is trying to keep track of stuff. I think Youtube forgot the “don’t receive messages from comments” button.
Most of the reasons are no longer valid. I haven’t seen Bob, other ASCII, the entire US constitution, porn links and others for a while in comments sections of more famous users.
So instead of using harassment as an excuse like corrupt media, he uses Google+ as an excuse.
Not allowing comments? Come on, you’re better than that!
One thing that needs to be added is the game developers and publishers associated with bribes and nepotism.
I wonder how the events could have gone if instead of Quinn, some other developer closely associated with her had been caught first instead.
I’ve noticed that in many sources the word “harassment” instead of “backlash”.
Quinnspiracy’s participant speaks again.
Kotaku haven’t given negative “omg pro nazi” coverage to Luftrausers, something that the site is known to do.
Vlambeer, we need to talk.
So it’s similar to what’s happening between politicians and major shareholders of major companies.
I just wonder what other indie developers offered to a gaming press. They all couldn’t have offered sexual services.
Has anyone noticed how little negative coverage has the Binding of Isaac received from Kotaku. You know, the site which complains about jokes in Far Cry 3.
Edmund, we need to talk.
Remember those indie developers who backlashed against Totalbiscuit after he expressed his opinion about the whole thing. Can anyone do some research on how much have Kotaku, Polygon and Rock Paper Shotgun provided coverage to their games (compared to other developers) and if any of it has been negative.
By the way, more neutral tone can often be achieved if the word “harassment” is replaced with “backlash”.
“Sad” is putting it really mildly.
That explains a lot!
10 years of experience on the web and that’s what he comes up with?
One puzzle piece to go. can it be found via process of elimination?
Someone should read description.
