It’s funny and depressing at the same time, fascinating.
Up voted and positive comments? Well that was unexpected, when did KYM become a clop site?
Oh, and inb4 Popperfett calls in an orbital strike.
You’re a fag.
What I learned
I see three moons in this picture.
I couldn’t tell you which is my favorite.

Oh God, half-humanized. This makes me
No, Lyra, in fact you will never live it down.
Well, I think the reason the fans threw such an incredible shitstorm was because Derpy was “our” character, we found this nameless background pony and gave her a personality and a name. Having those things made cannon was like bronies being legitimated, having those things taken out because some fucking soccer moms cried about it just stank of unfairness and betrayal.
And as long as we’re talking about the issue, while the fans’ response to the situation could have been a lot better handled, I found Hasbro to have been incredibly slimeball about the whole thing. They acted like cowards, not changing the episode because they thought they made a legitimate mistake, but because they were afraid they might hurt their reputation. I know they’re a corporation and their goal is to make money, but fuck, does it really have to come at the cost of any and all artistic integrity?
The funny thing is that I empathize with both of you entirely. I simultaneously felt a sincere throb at the heart strings watching Derpy cry and an EXTREME shame and self-loathing for being such a whiny bitch about a goddamned cartoon character. I hate nothing more than inconsistency, and for me to care about the fabricated plights of a cartoon horse when I’m happily aloof concerning 99.9% of the world’s real problems annoyed me to no end.
Reason tells us that the suffering of countless real people outweighs the fictional concerns of a few ponies, but reason is young and too often her council goes unheeded by instinct and emotion, man’s oldest masters. We feel more for ponies than for real people because we’ve formed a visceral connection with them, we’ve laughed at their exploits and learned the charm of their characters. Reason might tell me the ponies are fake and all those suffering humans are real, but of them my eyes only ever see big numbers in black ink.
@Bruno the Ace Attorney
There is AMPLE evidence of reccessive genes which show no phenotypes in the parents suddenly becoming apparent in the children. Case and the point, Mr. and Mrs. Cake are two earth ponies with both a unicorn and a pegasus child.

You’re quite mistaken darling.
Class and dignity? I’ve seen some of his humanized 34, and I don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about.
Ecstasy is a helluva drug.
Thank God for credit cards
I need a stiff drink.
WARNING: HNNNG LEVELS AT CRITICAL, HNNNG LEVELS AT CRITICAL
Imagine trying to get away, get away as fast as you can, and then when you’re so exhausted you can hardly breath, he’s there waiting for you, keeping your time.
Fun fact: Human breasts evolved to mimic the posterior and thus encourage more face-to-face sex amongst humans.
I’ve always had a problem with the love and tolerance stigma on philosophical grounds. Like everything else, love and tolerance should be given only in the appropriate context, not unconditionally as some of those thoughtless romantics might insist. Love should be merrit-based and tolerance should always be a means to an end, never an end itself. The fact that I tolerate cloppers isn’t because I think clopping is right, but because it serves another end, my respecting my fellow bronies who happen to be cloppers. As for love, The idea of loving someone for no reason strikes me as robbing the concept of any and all value.
I think we bronies should try to be kind and courteous to others, try to make the world a happier place, but I don’t think that has to extend to our trolls and haters. I see nothing wrong with telling those miserable fucks to piss off back to the pit they crawled out of, we have no reason to tolerate them and certainly no reason to love them.
I think a better stigma would be “Be helpful to your friends, be just to your enemies, and be courteous to everyone else.”
Logical fallacy; Post hoc ergo propter hoc, assuming that because an event follows a thing that it is because of that thing.
