first poster, although I have to say this MEME is older than the internet, (and i am neutral on your deadpool plusing) I can almost assure you that this has been around since before film was cheap. Film is recent, mischief is eternal.

Hatsune Miku is not nessesarily a meme herself, but she is a meme staging platform of sorts. She provides a media in which a meme can be born, continued, translated, or permutated. However, Hachune Miku IS a meme, or atleast a permutation of one, seeing as her existance is too closely intertwined with the Loituma (leekspin, llevan polka) meme to be considered otherwise.
