And Yue is watching jealously from above.
Actually, it could be that “normal” animals are rare because they live in highly isolated areas far away from humans. Yakkon took his sons far, far out into the wilderness, where people had not settled, to bloodbend those wolves. So maybe they were just regular wolves that people never saw because they lived in such isolation.
But I’m pretty sure that Yakkon still passed his bending ability onto his sons even though he had them after he fled Republic City, after Aang took his bending.

This. This is what the internet is truly about.
Apostrophe, why you gotta be like that?
Actually, I have missed the like button on several occasions, mostly on here when rating images. When that happens, I get really sad because I feel like I’ve ruined someone’s experience of posting an image they (and I) thought was great, and now all because of me their awesome image is down one vote. I know that feel all too well.
But it also gives me hope when I get voted down on something I know is great. At first I’m like, “Who would downvote this, this is great?” But then I’m like, “I know this is great, everyone else knows this is great; surely their mouse slipped and they now feel terrible about what has happened.”

+9001 work, but yes.
Does that mean airbenders can bend the air inside of a person? Can they remove all the air from a person’s lungs, effectively making them a vacuum and killing them? Can they make the air in your body do a little dance?
That’s why Lin’s father is… Toph, of course.
