I’m black, actually. American. You might guess as to why I’ve never heard that before. My folks refused to let me listen to hip-hop and R&B music or watch BET (Black Entertainment Television) until I was in high school. But by that time, I already had my interests and tastes.

Well, yeah. He’s done some dubstep, but he’s probably done more electrohouse and trance.
That seems like a silly reason to label him as “mediocre”, however.
He’s not my favorite electronic artist (that honor goes to Daft Punk), but he’s up there, and he got me into the genre as a whole, thanks to that Uncharted 3 trailer.
