Unpopular Opinion Puffin time: I really like the Japanese voices for Cowboy Bebop, Black Lagoon, and Baccano, the three shows everyone wants to remind me are superior in the dub. I also think most modern day dubs do a commendable job and are worth a listen.

I really think there is a middle ground here.

I honestly believe there are ways a lot of games can improve when it comes to female characters and representation, but I don’t approve of a mandate where every game must conform or fear being labelled sexist. It’s also possible to make sure your female characters aren’t all falling into a lazy stereotype without you trying to write them as perfect feminist icons. Ugh. Honestly, hearing feminist views helped me break out of some of my own lazy stereotypes and write better ladies. It also opened my mind up to how I was treating my male characters too (in negative ways even). But I found myself drawing the line when a female protagonist I wrote could be strong and three-dimensional, but could be considered a sexist stereotype because she dared to fall in love with a man. I’d just like to say people shouldn’t be afraid to care about equality, feminism, or racism in media out of fear of being shamed as a feminazi or something. But you also shouldn’t be afraid of offending some social justice group over the smallest thing, because trust me, people will find something to be offended over. You’ll never please them anyway.

She looks like she’s experiencing a Vietnam flashback? That can’t be good. Oh wait, you meant Drake.

No! You’ve broken Rich Evan’s spirit! Oh wait, it was already broken from too many Wheel of the Worst episodes.

I really feel for Korra. One of the saddest feelings is knowing you tried your very hardest and it still wasn’t enough, that you still weren’t strong enough.

As if the context of this scene wasn’t sad enough already. :(

I could not have asked for a more perfect crossover. I could not. :)
