I’m shocked this was never mentioned or found, but, the ACTUAL origin of this .gif comes from an old Arthur educational computer game in which whatever the name of the dog is licked the screen if you completed a mini game correctly. I apologize for not remembering which game it was, but, anyone who played it as a kid would probably be able to tell you, or at least back me up.

Yesterday, I was walking home from a friend’s house, when I noticed that a man was pulling up next to me, and he rolled down his window and said “Hey kid, it’s cold outside, do you want a ride back to your house”
Normally, I would’ve said no, however, I knew that I could overpower the man if he tried to do anything bad. So, I opened the door and sat down in the seat. I told him my address and he started driving towards it.
We sat in silence for about 5 minutes when the man, who we’ll call “Paul” said “Heh, you know what the ironic part is?” I looked at him, a bit confused and said “Excuse me?” Paul said “I used to drive a cab in New York” I said “Wow, that’s really interesting” Paul then told me a story about the time when he was robbed during one of his rides.
“And the weird part is, he’s in here with us, right now” and I looked behind me and saw a mutilated corpse of an elderly man behind us. I stayed quiet the rest of the ride there. Paul said “Okay we’re here” and I said “Nah, forget it. Yo, holmes to Bel-Air!” I pulled up to a house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabbie, “Yo holmes smell ya later!” Looked at my kingdom I was finally there, to sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-Air.
