Hold on, are we doing Usenet memes now too? If so, I have a massive entry to work on. Anyhow, as shown by Wikipedia, Google groups turns up a lot of old Usenet threads, and is generally one of the most helpful resources for things like this.

We already confirmed Waffles?…Carrots?, which is only found on Reddit. When the “just one website” argument is used here, that usually has to do with smaller sites, such as relatively unknown forums. If the meme is solely used on a site like 4chan or Reddit, then it shouldn’t be that big of a deal. Also, [FIXED] isn’t restricted to f7u12. There are plenty of other non-rage comic posts with that in the title.

That is a terrible idea. The point of the photos section on meme entries is to display examples of it “in the wild”. A meme generator would destroy that point entirely.

The less change that will be brought on because of this acquisition, the better. I must say that I am very hesitant about this, but hopefully you guys will prove me wrong. Also, a minor suggestion: now with the Cheezburger banner at the top, can we move down the top banner ad? The top of the page seems cluttered.
