Where, might I ask, is the supposed correlation between expressing our love and appreciation for an exceptionally well-written and animated cartoon about colorful talking ponies and being sexually attracted to younger children?
Personally, I’m not offended when people assert that “bronies are pedos” because I fail to understand the faulty logic behind such a baseless assertion. I’m also somewhat amused by the sheer ignorance and closed-mindedness of those who make such claims.
MLP:FiM was originally geared towards younger audiences, but in spite of this we simply appreciate it for its good content. It’s well written, well animated, and has great lovable characters. Our appreciation for the show has nothing to do with the kids who watch it. Lauren Faust specifically designed the show for people of all ages to enjoy, not just kids alone. There should be no excuse to assert otherwise.

TL;DR version: To put it simply, your family’s argument is invalid. Just tell them that we only like the ponies, we don’t give a damn about the younger audience of the show.

@Epic Fail Guy is a Brony Well, I honestly can’t say we didn’t see this coming. It happened several times before, and it was just bound to happen again.
Look up “BeanyOne” on YouTube. He (and hopefully a few others out there) still has the new episodes up. Plus they come with captions.
