That’s because I shortened the title when I saw it.

James' Forum Posts
I already edited the thread he created. He was posting hundreds of those characters in the thread title and stretching the forums which resulted in content going underneath the ads and moving the sidebar way off to the side. Click here for a sceenshot.
Thanks for the suggestion, I just pushed the update right now.
I have no idea what you’re talking about.
It’s separate from karma and currently your thumb up/down stats aren’t shown in your profile. Comments are hidden when they have a score of -10 or lower.
You now have the ability to thumb up/down comments. Let me know if you find any bugs.
More information about the karma you’re given and received is now shown in your profiles. Note: Your profile karma stats aren’t updated immediately after you vote or get voted on.
It’s a gallery of the most favorited photos in the last 24 hours.
edit: Nevermind, I misunderstood what you were saying. Anyway the revised system won’t count edits because there’s no easy way of determining the quality of an edit. Remember that these titles are automatic and are just used to give users a very general title which reflects what they do. All entry related titles will be determined by the breadth of entries (number of editorships) that users work on. If you have an expertise on a certain entry or area we can give you a custom title that will override the...
I was thinking more of the rare case where someone asks for editorship and is granted it but doesn’t really do anything. I’m confident that the editors on the site can find those users and remove them. If a user has made meaningful edits to an entry they should be able to keep the editorship no matter how long ago the edits were actually made. Right now the maximum number of editors on an entry is 10 and I’ll be increasing that.
Editing one word and editing an entire paragraph would still be the same since it’s only editing one field of the entry. Fields are the body, title, icon, category, etc. The next revision of the title system probably won’t count edits at all since I feel the number of editorships are more important. If a user has an editorship on the entry and isn’t contributing then that entry’s editors can simply take the user off. As a site admin I can edit any entry and automatically receive editorships but I’ve gone...
I updated it to look the same as forum post search results like in the screenshot. They should also be using the correct page numbers in the urls now.
You have 72 edits and the number in your profile is cached and will be updated later. Edits aren’t counted by how many fields you edit, it’s how many times you’ve saved an entry.
I only see 17 edits.
Who wants info about karma given and pie charts for contributions in profiles?
I think showing the number of upvotes/downvotes a user has given is a great idea.
The pie chart looks great, and right now you can hover over the join date to see a UTC timestamp.
We’re still revising the system but deadpooled memes definitely won’t count towards your title in the next revision.
We’re going to be changing them around as we figure out better ways to determine titles.
