Hey Jason, wanted to let you know we’re working on the charity for the next shirt, and should know something in the next day or so. We are speaking with a no-kill shelter that does weekly spots on radio and tv. Our line of thinking was using the shirts proceeds to donate to the shelter while getting the shelter to help publicize the shirts. :) I will be speaking with the director of the shelter tomorrow and let you know what I find out asap. And free shirts are always cool! BTW, I need to send you something. How do I do it somewhere other than on this wall lol?

Thanks again Jason, I showed my g/f the outpuring of well-wishes and she was just blown away. I’ll talk to her tonight about the best charity for the next run and let you know asap. If you are looking for a new design, I can help you there too, it’s what I do for a living! Shout at you in the next day or two. THANKS!!!

He was my girlfriend’s dog. It is a sad story, but one with a happy ending, as he spent the last couple of years of his life well cared for and knowing how much he could be loved. You would have never guessed what he had gone through given his wonderful and gentle demeanor. Best of all, now his memory will live on, immortalized thanks to Dog Fort! Thanks Jason!

Hey Jason, I just stopped by the DF reddit and can’t believe how it’s taken off, nice work! I happened to click on the bio for Dog Fort and saw the part about “not much is known about…” so I thought I’d provide a bit of historically accurate background. “Dog Fort” is actually named “Otter” (after Steve Ott of the Dallas Stars). His name was changed from Duke after he was rescued from a decade spent in an abusive home where he was severely beaten, neglected and probably picked on by cats (although the cat part is unconfirmed, it would explain his distrust of all things feline). :P. He lived the next two years in peace and comfort, although now it’s evident that his calm demeanor was simply a subterfuge to cover his preparations for the epic battle to come. He developed Leukemia in late 2009 and was recommissioned to the great Dog HQ in the sky where he currently uses his jedi power over death to preside over his armies. Long Live Dog Fort!

Hi, love what you’ve done to DogFort, shit is awesome. I was the originator of the DogFort comic (not the original 2 dog images, but the first comic) – I can provide the PSD if you need proof. I saw Bishops post called dogfort, I loved it – I made the comic out of his dogfort image and KYM user morainium’s avatar. I posted the comic as an image in the (then) new dogfort meme, …which then got buried and KYM user watcher commented on it that all I had done was produce a Get. Well FFFUUUU watcher, DogFort is real!

Sorry, no more bg on Dog Fort other than it was just a silly idea I did for the Cracked contest (What pets do when we aren’t home). It didn’t win, but it placed, as did a couple of others I did. Thanks for asking!

FYI, found the results of the contest: http://www.cracked.com/photoplasty_69_what-pets-are-doing-when-were-not-around/

The title pic with the thermostat was one of mine too.
