As I said in that thread, ponies are not being censored from the trending photos. That section is now being evaluated entirely differently. For the old evaluation by comments, you can check out the “most commented” section under the images section http://knowyourmeme.com/photos/most-commented. Cheers!

no they are not funny, and i remember the days before MLP was known that a trending picture with like only 3 comments would be up on the trending bar for weeks…
just because a mod put a picture on the trending bar doesn’t make it popular… people just take a look say ‘meh’ and move on.

The reason pictures are trending with no comments is because the moderation of the ponies also has another rule: Moderators get to pick which images trend. They’re still funny even though there are no ponies in them!

i found it when i first saw the Know your meme episodes on youtube and thought it’s kinda cool. then saw they have their own website and decided to check it out. it’s pretty fun site to visit from time to time..
