Reviews matter, in that if you don’t give a positive review you’re fired.
A few tips for getting tattoos
1. Tattoo artists are suppose to have portfolios, so you know that they don’t suck. if they don’t have one they are not professional.
2. Get something timeless. it will be on you forever. if you can honestly say that 20 years in the future it will still be relevant then go ahead and get it.
3.for god’s sake get it in a good location and have it facing the right direction. getting a tattoo of your kid on your chest sounds good until you realize they are looking at your armpit.
Good thing I’ve been keeping up on this…i don’t want to read all that.
I hate it. it’s filled with the kind of people that get pissed at you if you don’t mow your lawn.
it could simply be a file labeled sources.
Does it surprise anyone that these guys own Kotaku.

What may I ask is wrong with picking video games over sex?
DEVIL’S ADVOCATE: At least it’s a cute color.

Feels good not seeing Giant Bomb not on here. Oddly enough IGN nor the Dorito Pope Geoff Keighley don’t seem to be involved.
i agree with you completely. I happen to be subscribed to a Vloger who made a list of guide lines with debating and arguing with the opposition. enjoy.
Here are a few cases of actual integrity in games journalism. If we can find a few good standards to hold the others up to, then maybe we can see a modicum of change.
Jeff Gerstmann former editorial director of the gaming website GameSpot. Gerstmann was dismissed from his position at GameSpot as Editorial Director on November 28, 2007. Immediately after his termination, rumors circulated proclaiming his dismissal was a result of external pressure from Eidos Interactive the publisher of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men (whom at the time was Gamespot’s primary sponsor) which Gerstmann had previously given a Fair rating, which is relatively undesirable, along with critique. He then went on to found Giant Bomb, one of the most ethical publications in Games media. they have on a few a occasions, recused themselves from reviewing games, because the staff were good friends with the developer.
Adam Sessler of X-play of G4TV refused to cave in to pressure from producers to change his 5 star rating system to a 10 star so that it would be more in line with Metacritic. he also refused to adhere to the many other bad practices in games journalism and was terminated from G4TV As of April 25, 2012.
Totalbiscuit, though he doesn’t consider himself a journalist and only a simple critic. Closed his P.O. Box to prevent games developers from sending him gifts to sway is options.
Ummm… Lesbian/Incestuous ship.
Adam Sessler was the host of X-Play, covering video games 5 times a week on national television. Publishing game reviews, interviewing developers and occasionally producing editorials. he was one of the most respected people in the field.
If Adam Sessler, during his career wasn’t considered a journalist. then no one in games can be called a journalist.
Note: add new hat to TF2
