Here’s the original troll account that posted that dumb rant: https://twitter.com/DatDrunkAnon/status/547111220789411840
Tune in next time for “Stuff that totally happened!”
I’d really like to know who drew bizarro Vivian here. I’ve been trying to find the source, but I can’t seem to locate it.
You must be so proud.
The proliferation level of this cane stuff is downright scary.
The amount of ponies in this gallery isn’t excessive.
Sure showed you.
Get over it. It’s called a meme for a reason.
Uploaded an image to Let Me Tell You Why That's Bullshit.
Even this annoying pony finds that to be completely not cool.
I saw that a few months ago. How time does fly in the ponyverse!
Are you kidding me? People complained about that ad? You know, when I watch commercials, I don’t give two seconds’ thought WHAT color the people are. Good grief, people need to chill out over such trivial stuff.
So, I was just looking through all the stuff I missed. Sometimes, I disagree strongly with your posts (like the vector credit thing), and then others I want to applaud. Take this concise little gem:
I don’t want to turn this into a long-winded debate on the forums, but I will say that I strongly disagree and feel that your argument was rather ignorant. To break down masculine and feminine into merely ‘active’ and ‘passive’ is to oversimplify and misrepresent them on a massive level. To classify them as only social constructs is to spit in the face of biology and human nature. To recommend they be entirely abandoned is to castrate the soul and dehumanize the men and women who are now expected to be sexless drones."
Love it. Never change dude.
Saw this while poking around Derpibooru. What on earth have you all been up to?
Whups, fixed that!
Come on people, there’s no denying this is creating a heck of a buzz online. I’d say it’s a noteworthy event, especially when you consider the variety of sites and media creation involved with it specifically.
I quite like the new avatar.
I’m not ignoring your messages, really! I’m just taking things a little slower at the moment, what with a new job and the holidays and such. A reply shall be made… soon.
I could totally do voice work for an animation. As for specific animation ideas, I might have some… I’ll give it further thought!
Hey man, sorry for the slow reply.
I’d still like to share my thoughts on why Fluttershy has always been my favorite, but… well, for different reasons I’ve been feeling kind of bummed lately I guess, so I haven’t been as active online as I usually am. I’ll be over it soon enough, and then I’m sure I’ll be back to my old opinionated self again.
Like that, only more cheerful!
Thanks man, I really do appreciate that.
It’s kind of funny, or ironic maybe, because the little stuff that bugged me about that episode was really just icing on the cake of why I really didn’t like the story overall, but the minor stuff hung up the discussion so much that we never quite got that far. Such is life, I suppose.
That review is pretty well thought out, if far longer than it needed to be. I think the thing that bothered me most is the way Lightning Dust was not only expelled, she was publicly disgraced, and without so much as a reprimand. She actually thought she was following the spirit of the exercise, as it were.
Overall, I’m amazed that Too Many Pinkie Pies would have received such lukewarm reception, and this controversial entry is so widely loved. I really don’t mean to be a hipster, but it seems the masses and I frequently disagree…
Concerning Spitfire in fanart, you know what I mean. She’s actually spoken a couple times by the way, in Best Night Ever and Hurricane Fluttershy. The way she talked and carried herself in past appearances has led directly to the way the fandom has percieved her. So, I still think they should have gotten someone else for that part. The difference was just too jarring.
At least that fellow you showed in your YouTube links sounded the same in both instances, only in one he was shouting, and in the other he wasn’t. Spitfire assumes this bizarre, obnoxious gravel voice at the academy that’s about as intimidating as the secretary from Monsters Inc. But the biggest reason is that she seems like the type to delegate the drill instructor role. That’s just how I felt about it.
Oh, and about nitpicks; I never liked Dexter’s Lab, probably for that very reason. However, Batman TAS is quite above reproach.
Of course not, I’m not ready to rage-quit just yet! I can certainly understand (and appreciate) that folks aren’t fond of negativity. And naturally…
Well that was random.
Anyway, um, just wanted to say not to feel like you have to read my latest post on Pony General. You’re a pretty cool guy, and I really don’t want to annoy you with some ranty Rainbow Dash critique.
