Hahaha, that’s my fiancee’s major. She wants to design cars.

If you don’t mind me asking, what is your major, anyways?

Cool, I get to post another song!

But could it be…. our last? I thought we would be music sharing buddies foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :(

Not even Radiohead’s genius can cheer me up :(. Absolutely wondrous song though. Possibly the best song on possibly the best album of possibly the best band in history.

Well this is it. I’ve got to say, that was an enlightening experience. It seems our musical tastes, while not exactly the same, seem to align quite often. I’m glad to have done this little music buddy thing.

May we be paired up again soon, and hopefully you’ll have explored my suggestions, as well as some of your own by then~

Whaaa, 7 songs and you’re out already? Bitch, get on my level.

Normally I’m ambivalent to Grizzly Bear (they’re awesome, but often don’t sound like something I’d listen to), but this song is a real keeper. Dunno why. Maybe it’s the vocals, maybe it’s the sexy guitar in the background, maybe it’s that epic eruption of cacophony at the end. Or maybe it’s how everything melds together.

Well school started today and I’ve had even less time to do stuff on the internet that I have for the past few weeks. Fear not though, I shall continue my end of the bargain.

Apparently I do like melodic dubstep, because that was awesome. And yeah, don’t equate Skrillex to the entire genre of dubstep, because then you’ll be missing out on a lot. Dubstep is quite a diverse genre, surprisingly. You can do a lot with those wubs, you know, and there are some genius producers out there.

Like these guys from New Zealand whom BSOD totally knew about.

“The deliciously done beats and the subdued wubs, combined with the ethereal vocals and faint orchestral backdrop are simply indescribable.”
Posted that on his wall (ujelly I have 2 partners somehow) and posting here now.

Oh God, I love Scott Pilgrim. Best movie evar. After everything made by Pixar, everything made by Studio Ghibli, the last few Harry Potter films, The Truman Show, and a bunch of other stuff. But yeah, it’s pretty good.

I think your facts are a little screwed up though. The lead singer of Metric, Emily Haines, merely contributed a track to Scott Pilgrim; she wasn’t Scott’s ex (although that would be cool).

So, you like Canadian indie pop bands eh? Have some Stars (also featured on my wall):

Yes, the intro is stupid genius. Amazing song nonetheless. The vocals are delicate and soothing; the instrumentation is lush and beautiful. It’s wonderful.

They do some work with Emily Haines in Broken Social Scene too.

That was quite nice actually. Totally sounds like something I would listen to on a regular basis. The lead singer guy is just so adorably awkward. Kinda like every single member of this next band.

The xx s a never-ending search, really. You may think you like one genre, but then you listen to something new, and you are simply captivated. So yeah, explore within the rock genre, explore outside of it. Just remember to always explore.

The louder type of rock eh? Well I will totally ignore your preferences, and instead attempt to expose you to a whole new world of music.

Let’s been the indie pop inundation with some New Radicals. You may have heard of their most popular song “You Get What You Give” before, but I assure you they’re so much more than a one hit wonder. Their (lone ;( ) album is full of all sorts of gems, like this one:

It doesn’t legitly start until about 2 minutes in, but I assure you the noise is probably my favourite part of the song. That and the absolutely cheesy lyrics.

Hai. We’re music buddies, if you didn’t know. I wanted to gauge your tastes first before I gave you anything too out of your comfort zone, but I guess things don’t always go as we want them to, do we?

So anyways, I herd you like rock music. Have some classic Coldplay to start:

I wish making new friends was easy :x.

What’s not to like about “Twins”? Short, simple, memorable, classy. That’s all you could ever ask for in a username. It’s like “Muffins” on steroids.

Also, it helps me fill in that missing part of me I get from being a only child. Only? More like lonely :(.
