Well, I think I should explain my situation as well since you went through the trouble. I believe I’m in the right in diagnosing myself with Dependent Personality Disorder. I have a very close-knit group of about six or seven friends. We all love each other in our own ways. But I feel the constant need to be close to them or interacting with at least one of them at most times. Heck, right as I’m typing this I am. And to use your analogy, it’s a double-edged sword. On one hand, I’m too clingy to them, which makes me overbearing at times, and I fully acknowledge that. But I always know if something’s gone wrong with them or if they’re sad, because it sounds weird, but I can like sense their emotions or something, and they always say I make them happy, that’s why I love them so much. I can even tell if something’s bothering someone (usually) over text messages. I like that about me. We’re like the same person.

I know, I wish I could donate it. But, I can’t.

Also, sorry to sound like an ass, but I rather donate my money to a cause that wasn’t influenced from my liking of their entertainment. Sorry, but just because they make my favorite games, anime and manga, doesn’t mean I will help them.

I rather donate to The Heart Foundation, ASPCA, American Red Cross or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Those are the places that really need it, in my eyes.
