The only answer I can think of to answer “Why did this happen?” is that this may have had something to do with Occupy Sesame Street, but even that doesn’t make any sense. According to the links from the picture, New York Magazine’s Vulture Blog, the Washington Post, and uproxx.com, it seems like there’s some mixed reactions; some people think it’s funny, while those who are Christian think it’s pretty mean-spirited. I’m in agreement; it seems the media jumped on this because it was Kirk Cameron, although they might have hoped this would be like another Sad Keanu. So it does have potential to go viral, but if you want my opinion, I still think it’s pretty forced.
