About

I listen to music. A lot of music.
I do chemistry. Slightly less frequently than I listen to music.
I slack on KYM. When I’m not doing chemistry.

Aww, I’m one of your favourite users? [>>INSERT GENERIC HAPPY IMAGE]
Oh right, no phpBB. Found one anyways.

Please note that the feeling is reciprocated, although I chose to be less specific on the survey.

Also, let me introduce you to the following. This is the signature drumstep tune.

I don’t always get drunk, but when I do, I retain a certain level of, uh, spelling-related sobriety. Mostly thanks to spell check. Jesus I’m nearing the too-drunk-to-type level right now. Ugh, I’m gonna feel like shit tomorrow. Thank god for DnB to help me through it.

OI WAKE UP YOU POVVO – 07:00, rise and shine! Make sure you listen to while you’re really hung over. It’ll put hair on your chest.

Well like I said, to give more info I’d have to start explaining a lot of quantum mechanics, and it would turn into more of an essay than a wall post…

I think “pandemic” would have been slightly more….accurate than “epidemic” with regards to MLP. But that’s just me.

When photons (light) pass through matter, occasionally they can be inelastically scattered, and change to a longer wavelength – lots of blue light goes in, some red light comes out for example. The change in wavelength – from blue to red in this case – can be measured. The shift, as it’s called, can be correlated with certain molecular vibrational excitations, so the shift can be used to figure out what molecules are in the sample.

Basically I shoot lasers at things. Hence the recreation.

I hope that explains it. I could go in way more depth of course but I’m assuming that since your chemistry experience is limited to high school, you don’t know much about quantum mechanics, so it would probably not make much sense to you.

I’m currently working on some research involving Raman spectroscopy, but I’ve also done work with environmental chem. I’m also interested in advanced materials and organometallics. You?

Professionally. But that sometimes involves recreation.

That’s a style that I’ve never really explored. So I checked out his Soundcloud and I gotta say some of the stuff on there is pretty heavy. In a good way.

Actually if you don’t use soundcloud you should get on it, it’s a great way to find music, and to stay on top of things.

We would have much to, ahem, discuss. As it happens the one genre I hate more than metal is…Glee-pop!

Have more DnB. This song is really simple but, my god, do I love it.

As the thread’s resident artist (let’s face it, that’s what you are), I was hoping you might be able to give me some feedback. Towards the bottom of page 170 I posted a pic I made while procrastinating my studying. It’s also in my images if you don’t want to go digging. Anyway I was looking for something more substantial than “add some extensions,” and I figured you’d be the one to ask.

Just don’t listen at 320p. I have a 10 MBit connection so I usually roll with 720p, but I don’t think 480p has any big difference in audio.

And about that music your friend is giving you. I hate that kind of music. It’s just painful. But I guess that’s kinda the point of it. I guess I don’t identify with it at all.
