That track you just posted, its that really a Sub Focus remix of Sub Focus? (Yo dawg…)

Lately I have been addicted to tracks such as Splash, Timewarp, TripleX and Deep Space. Sub Focus is like an alternative to Pendulum for me right now, I’m glad I found this guy.

Speaking of Pendulum I discovered that I like their older stuff so much more than the newer stuff. I’m going through that too. IMO they actually used to sound a bit like Black Sun Empire. Vastly different from their latest albums. Man, what changed?

After browsing Spectrasoul I came across this other guy called Sub Focus.

Virtually the opposite of what I just heard. Spectrasoul is deep and ambient but sort of fades into the background. Sub Focus is more upbeat and energetic, it grabbed my attention much more securely.

I think I prefer the style of Sub Focus much more. I love deep bass and ambiance but it cannot be the only element of the music. I look for energy/tension too.

Oh looky, I’m a Conversationalist now. Fun.

I’m looking at more from Spectrasoul. So far I have mostly heard moderately paced, low intensity, deeply toned content. But if they have a broad range, I’ll hear it soon.

I note how Spectrasoul (from what I have heard so far) keeps the buzz noises to a minimum. It makes the music sound more relaxed in comparison the neurofunk I have collected so far

I was in Oregon just last year. On the many occasions that I have traveled back to the states, we always go to Oregon to visit my family there. My sister is in Oregon, maybe you can say hi.

Auckland should have em for sure. Its only costs $200 worth of petrol for me to drive there. But the good news is that I’m going to the System Of A Down concert in Aux soon. While I am there I’ll have a chance to repay the band I like for the music I…borrowed.
