About

I listen to music. A lot of music.
I do chemistry. Slightly less frequently than I listen to music.
I slack on KYM. When I’m not doing chemistry.

Newest version of Everfree Forest. If this doesn’t cut it, I might try something else. http://www.mediafire.com/?gjvbgsnbjntul58

Haha, I wish. I can do a pretty trolly imitation of one though. Usually I just speak like all the other Canadians, but when I talk to Americans, I try to throw in a couple ehs at the end of every sentence, aboot, and try to fit zed in somewhere. Yeah, I’m that kind of person.

It’s up to the staff to decide whether an entry gets confirmed or not.

But as Half-Life and Team Fortress 2 are both created by Valve, perhaps you should check that entry a bit and get ideas there. Give the Half-Life entry more examples of online presence.

9 hours ago the daylight was only just appearing across the horizon, the sun wasn’t actually visible yet. Typical for a NZ summer at 4:55AM

Where you were, the sun should have already appeared over the horizon

Glad you liked it!
I don’t know what mastering is though.
Is that bad?

You probably are. You seem a little disturbed from getting a majority of RD’s personality as if it means you are assertive and choleric as her even though you don’t seem to be.

But remember you collected large portions of other pony personalities too. I suppose that counterbalances a few things. I take it that you are not RD, just everything except Fluttershy. Still a well balanced personality

My result is harder to explain. I only clicked 2 of the “pinkie answers” they were pretty obvious. How I got more of her than Twilight and Fluttershy is beyond me.

If you are really in doubt, take the test again. I bet your result will be different the second time.

Tense! I love it.

But was it me or did the video change a couple times? About an hour after listening to it, I looked at my profile again and I could have sworn the imbedded video changed to a different song; another D&B track by the same artist with lyrics in it and a different cover image. Then a while later it switched back to what it was when I first clicked on it: non-lyrical with long revs

I checked my inbox to see if you deleted and replaced the post but I saw no evidence that you changed it which means that the imbedded video swapped its source for a while

I thought it was definitely… different (a sax?!). It was a pretty cool song though.

Google isn’t giving me immediate info on that when I search for the song name and Joss Stone, so I’m guessing not.

Still sounds really similar though. Aside from the Drum & Bass.

“And plus, shooting lasers at toilet paper 120 times in an hour can get, well, tedious.”

Details, man!

Is that Joss Stone? I didn’t check the video, but I have three of her albums, so I’m pretty sure my guess is right. Although the music is different from what I’d expect from her. Interesting.

Reading Verbose’s post below I’m starting to get a little curious about what projects you two are working on right now.

Anyway I came here to mention ocremix.org

It’s a website dedicated to game music and remixes of game music. Some pretty interesting stuff going on in here, particularly if you are a gamer like myself

Nice metroid remix

That’s unfortunate to hear.

Most of my research is for class, so mostly projects concerning the health and well-being of broad populations. Generally, I approach these matters from a psychosocial standpoint. But I’m also a research assistant. In that, I’m helping to investigate drivers of psychological distress, usually depression. One question we have deals with why black people have lower rates of suicide and suicide ideation compared to other ethnic groups in the US (and why white people have relatively high rates.) It’s weird, because blacks usually have worse health outcomes in just about everything along with more problems that leave a “trapped/no alternative” feeling that many suicide victims feel. We’re hypothesizing that religion (and the psychosocial factors that go along with religious participation like a sense of meaning) may protect against suicidality. Since there’s the stereotype that black people are more religious than other groups, we thought that may explain a lot of the difference. But research connecting the distress and race to religion is scant.

I also research the meme “YOU DON’T HAVE ENOUGH BADGES TO TRAIN ME!”

Yeah, these shades are pretty freakin’ sweet…

But no, I didn’t make it myself. I just stole it from the Grimdark Bic Mac Tumblr (which isn’t actually grimdark). All I had to do was cut out the part I wanted and edit out everything else (which was ridiculously easy).

I did notice that Pendulum made changes to their own style as their albums progress. Immersion had music that sounded more like pop compared to their older stuff.

I didn’t let that bother me too much. I just stuck with their older music, but I can see how that can draw plenty of disappointment.

If Pendulum killed D&B then a lot of artists missed the memo, I don’t see anyone stopping on behalf of them.

Holy crap that drop is insane on that thing.

Pendulum is another one of my favorites. That may sound strange because their style is very different from all the other stuff I have but I guess there’s still some things I don’t yet know about my own music tastes.

Fun Fact: My friend (Know what? I mention her so much I’ll use her actual name: Rachel) tried to tell me that Pendulum makes dubstep.

I told her they have made dubstep before but they are mainly a D&B producer. Then Rachel got shitty at me and refused to believe a word I said. She actually got jealous that for once, I knew something about music that she didn’t :D
