Well… but it’s a mod joke, KYM is mostly composed of normal users who (as well as non-users) don’t get it and think the enty has been rejected for real. And if it is supposed to be a joke why did you posted “Milpool”? Deadpool is obviously not forced, I gave clear sources to prove that Deadpool is popular in the web. It’s just unfair to reject an entry not only 1 hour after it was created, but with no valid reason more than “it’s a joke”.

Deadpool:
Aside from the Deadpool deadpool’d joke, I’ll ask you to make Deadpool a submission again. Many people in the comments are asking for it. I’ll quote a top comment which says: “This seriously needs to be made into a submission again. The “deadpool” title is only for entries that are obviously forced, gibberish, or received no attention for years. As this is none of those, it deserves the benefit of the doubt, at least.
Meta-jokes aside, this should have been confirmed.” And to see a “deadpool” tag in an entry that took you some time to make is a little bit hurtful.

I dont really notice the date updated or the date created but if its on the trending bar I tend to voice my opinion on it, That being said, I’m not sure which one you’re referring to but I’ll keep an eye on the dates

Frankly, I only commented on whatever submission you’re getting onto me for because it was trending. If it’s trending, I typically assume it’s trending for good reason and share my 2 cents.

Why can’t it have a chance? I provided enough information related to Deadpool’s popularity, fan art, numbers related to his presence in social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr. And I think with more citations than necessary. Everything along notable examples, background story about the character, why is it popular, signs of popularity. I think he deserves a chance to be put under research.

@Dangler: No, just because you submit an entry on KnowYourMEME, it doesn’t automatically mean it is a meme and that it will be confirmed. Most likely, it is FORCED. A meme is something that has spread over the internet and gained its popularity overtime through online communities. Obviously, you have no clue.
