And why is KYM posting a girl’s Facebook pictures after she disabled her account? Creepy.

I think what happened is people on Facebook who were new to “memes” took the Wonka thing out of context and started just using it for whatever and it stuck. Checked the You Must Be New Here page, the Wonka image is downplayed and uses a super old cat picture without text as the main image. Weird.

Isn’t this “Everything Went Better Than Expected” with different text? Or something like that. Either way, pretty sure rageface is taken.

Slenderman is a meme (but not exactly a cryptid), and mysterious animal corpses can go viral, but I don’t think I’d count Cryptozoology itself as an Internet Meme, it’s much bigger than that.

I agree, not a meme, or at least not an Internet meme as far as I’m aware. Good job on the research though, I’ve always wondered what it meant.

It was a funny scene, but I’ve never seen it used on the Internet. Ever. And with (at least) two other memes that are just Futurama screenshots and a caption, I gotta say it feels forced.

At least give it a distinct name, even if it’s just “the bacon meme”. Because otherwise, people are eating internet memes for breakfast, and that’s just weird.

I’ve never seen this before except today when I came on and saw it on a couple of Kym-original pictures. So..I feel this meme is forced. Badly. Unless it’s a real meme somewhere else and I missed it. Also, video games are not memes, at least give it a unique name.
