Commented on Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting.
It’s like no one actually cares that little kids were killed today, it’s just “don’t take my guns away!” or “take everybody’s guns away!”. Sick.
Commented on Repost.
+1 Confirm but change pic. Also I wouldn’t consider it a “meme”. But I do think it’s a notable enough…concept? to deserve its own article.
Commented on 1dc.jpg.
The Forced is strong in this one.
Commented on Mansplaining.

+1 Deadpool
Commented on Pics or It Didn't Happen.
The “original” example implies it’d been around for a while even then. I wonder how far back it really goes.
Commented on Overly Attached Girlfriend.
I feel like this is forced.
And why is KYM posting a girl’s Facebook pictures after she disabled her account? Creepy.
Commented on Condescending Wonka / Creepy Wonka.
I think what happened is people on Facebook who were new to “memes” took the Wonka thing out of context and started just using it for whatever and it stuck. Checked the You Must Be New Here page, the Wonka image is downplayed and uses a super old cat picture without text as the main image. Weird.
+1 Facebook is making things complicated
Commented on Game of Thrones.
+1 change title to “Brace Yourselves ___ is Coming” (tv show doesn’t meme) and Confirm that sucka cause I’ve totally seen it before and the pixels.
Commented on Am I Ugly?.
This started in 2007 but they just started talking about it on the news two months ago? Wow.
Commented on Dafuq did i just read?.
Isn’t this “Everything Went Better Than Expected” with different text? Or something like that. Either way, pretty sure rageface is taken.
Commented on Cryptid.
Slenderman is a meme (but not exactly a cryptid), and mysterious animal corpses can go viral, but I don’t think I’d count Cryptozoology itself as an Internet Meme, it’s much bigger than that.
+1 Deadpool or at least Work
Commented on Stocking.
If I’m reading the graph right, it looks like interest peaked around the time this was posted and sharply declined right down to zero.
Commented on Tripping Balls.
I agree, not a meme, or at least not an Internet meme as far as I’m aware. Good job on the research though, I’ve always wondered what it meant.
Commented on Shut Up And Take My Money!.
It was a funny scene, but I’ve never seen it used on the Internet. Ever. And with (at least) two other memes that are just Futurama screenshots and a caption, I gotta say it feels forced.
Commented on Nickelback.
+1 Deadpool a band is not a meme
Commented on First Day on the Internet Kid.
-originated a little over a month ago
-never seen it before now
-75% identical to pre-existing (sub)meme
lol this is not a meme +1 deadpool or merge
Commented on 2012 Republican Presidential Primary.
Yeah, Colbert pretended to run for president last time too.
Commented on Google Plus / Google+.
“Search queries for “google plus” and “google+” saw a significant spike starting on June 28th, 2001, the official launch day”

Commented on Bacon.
At least give it a distinct name, even if it’s just “the bacon meme”. Because otherwise, people are eating internet memes for breakfast, and that’s just weird.
Commented on Day Without Wikipedia.
There’s already an article for SOPA, why do we need a separate one for this? Especially since that day is like, over and stuff.
Commented on Costa Concordia Disaster / "Vada a bordo, cazzo!".
Are all news stories memes now?
Commented on Yes, This is Dog.
I always thought this was an older meme cause of the way the picture looked, kinda low-resolutionish. Either way I like it.
Commented on Now Kiss!.
People actually…use this?
I’ve never seen it.
Commented on You Must Be New Here.
I saw/used this a bit back in 2010, surprised it was just now added.
Commented on The Elder Scrolls.
I’ve never seen this before except today when I came on and saw it on a couple of Kym-original pictures. So..I feel this meme is forced. Badly. Unless it’s a real meme somewhere else and I missed it. Also, video games are not memes, at least give it a unique name.
