I’ve never read (and probably never will read) anything from Lenin or about Leninism. However, my opinion about capitalism was greatly influenced by Marx’ “Das Kapital”.
No, where did you get that from? Capitalism is the use of one’s capital (machines, land, money) and the purchase of workforce as a part of the production process. That alone makes the capitalist. Of course, they can invest their own work, too, but that’s not necessary since they can pay someone to do that job as well. The important factor is: gaining profit through private property and the work of others.
But in this case, she invests only her own work to produce weed. It’s the same as a farmer who grows corn on his field. He may have assets we could define as capital, like this tools, a tractor and the land, but since he’s not employing other people, he’s not a capitalist.
First part: ok, but the second part doesn’t make sense. Producing and selling weed alone has nothing to do with capitalism.
