Doesn’t afraid of anything.
It makes a lot of sense – artistically speaking. Not just for anime but for filmmaking in general.
But theres films as an artform, and then theres calculated money-making industry, which of course caters to interests.
Why are so many superhero-movies coming out? Cause people watch and spend money on them.
Same goes for anime.
that was actually funny.
In comparison this horrible sexist army ad for the Austrian Military.

I can one-up this story:
A light wheat beer is called ‘helles’ (which means bright) in german.
So if a beer is light wheat, you call it ‘hell’ (again, bright).
There is a brewing co. that bought the rights to brew beer in Fucking, Austria, and
since in Austria (and most parts of the world) beers are named after the places they
are brewed, they legally have the right to call their beer ‘Fucking Hell’ and it would
be the correct german/austrian name for it.
i actually found a huge mc donalds M in our attic, and me or my brother never took one and we live over 12km away from the next mc donalds.
Why do I hear this when I see that pic?

“Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!”
You are not really another, cause you still cannot control your bodymovement or feel it. But it would be interesting to watch yourself run around in third person – would feel like the controls of the old Resident Evil games :D
It is, I played it a couple years ago and its learning curve is super steep and when you understand whats going on it feels like you’re doing taxes. Though the cool part about EVE is that almost everything is playercontrolled and you play on one central server.
I heard that professors that teach economics at universities recomment students to start playing EVE.
Remember when in Anime you heard these english names? Because the authors thought they were cool and exotic. Hell thats why you have Final Fantasy characters named “Snow” and “Vanille”. With Attack on Titan they do the same with german names, thats why you have names like “Jaeger” “Ackerman” “Dieter” and so on.
And about marketing words: You have plenty of german and french words in english and the other way around. Think of words like angst, rucksack, brochure, or when you add uber- to anything, like ubercool.
Just enjoy other speakers trying to pronounce these words correctly. :D
it’s the same for german. it’s marketing, english seems more ‘cool’ and ‘trendy’.
Or what about the time the Austrian Army attacked itself and lost 10 000 men?
