Anyway, getting this back to Avatar stuff, has anyone else seen any translations of the show? Are they generally good? What kind of stuff do they get wrong?

Hey guys, you all know about that web series Extra Credits, right? (Because if not, the SHAME ON YOU!) Well, one of the guys from it just took part in a podcast about the first Avatar series.

I do like the blinders though. They make a lot of sense: she can’t see anyway, but an eye injury in a fight could still make her too hurt to continue, and it could get infected. The blinders would keep this from happening.

The continuity in this thread is very strong. You must go all the way back to Pony General 1 and read through to now, or else you will understand NOTHING!

Sorry, but they just did a round of mod upgrades this week and probably won’t be making more for a while. If you see something, post it here or tell a mod.

I think that the distinction is that I/Vs are categorized by entry, since very few of them are uploaded on their own, so mixing them with entry mod powers is treated like an extension of the entry mod’s responsibilities. Meanwhile, the actual act of research is often, for complex and highly collaborative entries, coordinated on the forums, so that is where that name comes from. I agree, though, that something like “community mod” would be a better name for Mister J’s rank.
