Sorry to burst your bubble, guys, but that sheet music does not go with that song at all. That song is Flandre Scarlet’s theme: ‘U.N. Owen Was Her?’ from the Touhou Project game. That sheet music was a joke written by John Arthur Stump (more info here: http://lostinthecloudblog.com/2010/03/13/john-stump-composer-of-faeries-aire-and-death-waltz/ ) – and if you actually look at the sheet music directions, you can tell it’s definitely not it.
Besides, I think Octavia would have trouble with the part of the music where she’s supposed to light the explosives… o.O

That being said, I really REALLY hate to have to type what I’m about to…

The story itself is not a/meme; and references to it, as often as they may appear (and I love it when they do :) ) don’t carry the central idea as effectively as other memes where the idea/story behind it can be conveyed in a single small unit.
For instance, I could mention “Have fun storming the castle!” (Most people here should get the reference, I hope…) Would that be a meme, or just a reference? Can the idea behind it be grasped as a single unit?
I guess the real question I’m trying to ask is: is a meme a small reference to a larger whole, or must it be self-contained to stay within the official definition?

That’s why I’m doubtful that (Ben Drowned) itself is a meme. { :*( }
But, if someone were to change the name of this entry to “You shouldn’t have done that”; that could possibly be self-contained enough to stay within the bounds of definition. ^_~

P.S. Do we have a definition page on this site? Would it be helpful in cases like this?
