Kind of Blue was voted the 12th greatest album of all time by Rolling Stone, and rightfully so; when it came out over 50 years ago, it changed the face of Jazz music as they knew it. No one even had the capacity to conceive of what Miles had come up with, and it shows that he is a complete and utter genius.

Shame he’s dead. So it goes.

I implore you to listen to it, if you haven’t already. It’s monumentally brilliant.

I have this album somewhere on my computer, I ought to listen to it all the way through one of these days. Along with Nevermind. 5/5 would definitely listen to it again.
