Making a thread with a focus or any kind of discussion value is fine, but if the topic is to ‘Talk like you would in the IRC’ then the moderators are going to assume that it is a redundant thread, rather than going for the ‘Just For Fun’ nature, and this is what bugs me about JFF silly threads getting locked nowadays.
