Commented on TEH

The “teh” is heavily featured, as the featured t-shirt of one of the story’s main protagonist, on the webcomic Questionnable Content.

You can see it being on Marten’s t-shirt on the first comic of the series, in 2003.

Since then, the creator of the comic also sells said shirt as a t-shirt, featuring, simply, the words “teh”.

Maybe it’s in some way related?

Here are the Google Trends for “Four Hands Guitar”. As you see, it peaked first in the summer of 2007, with Dufour and Gauthier’s video.

Commented on Braden Walker Tributes

decker12, that’s true it hasn’t crossed over to the mainstream. It’s all over the wrestling forums tough.

Is there such a thing as a wrestling meme? Or specialized memes? :)

Commented on Braden Walker Tributes

For a 3 week career in the WWE, Braden Walker seems to be still quite present in the Internet Wrestling Community, mainly as a punchline tough.

As for the original video (“The Definitive Braden Walker”), it’s been reported and linked to from many of the major wrestling sites, blogs or forums, from Pro Wrestling Torch to 411Wrestling to Scott Keith’s, amongst others. I’ve also seen “Braden Walker Tributes” topics on usenet rec.sport.pro-wrestling. Recently, his whole WWE career was “inducted” on the website WrestleCrap.com, also.

So, I’d say the Tribute thing, as well as the irony of the 3 weeks thing, has gotten quite a play in the Internet Wrestling Community.

I’ve seen “Braden Walker Tributes” topics on usenet rec.sport.pro-wrestling. The original “Braden Walker 3-Disc Set” has been reported on quite a lot of the main wrestling sites and blogs and forums (from Pro Wrestling Torch to 411 to bloggers like Scott Keith, amongst others). And, Braden Walker, it itself, has become kind of a punchline, his 3 week career was inducted on the Wrestlecrap.com website.

Commented on You Are A Pirate

Considering there’s quite a number of LazyTown videos, mashup and the such, don’t you think that LazyTown Remixes, as a whole, should be memes, and not just “You’re a Pirate!”. “Cooking by the Book” and “Bing Bang (Time to Dance)” have also seen quite alot of remixes.
