It’s all good, no harm done. And I do understand your frustration, so thanks for hearing me out. :3
To elaborate, I actually have respect for people not wanting to get forcefeed ponies left and right. However, as the very nature and purpose of KYM is to keep track of the use, and abuse, of memes my comment was not out of place, but relevant. Of course, I expected a lot of groan and moan, hence the down votes – still, considering nobody commented before you in these last 2 years, I suspect majority was capable of realizing it was still relevant to the meme and belonged here. That’s why I found your assumption shortsighted, if not directly unreasonably hostile. And I say that as a personal impression, not as an insult.
Actually I don’t, that’s a pretty dumb and short sighted assumption if you base it on only this post. I only pointed out a harmless and coincidental, but potential fun, observation made in regards to the number 42.
Back when I made this comment people in the fandom still tried to be tolerant so joking around a bit instead of being dead serious all the time wasn’t an issue. As one of the earliest bronies I can tell you what ruined it and made the fandom shit was cynical assholes that get butthurt and cause drama over the tiniest shit – pretty much like what you’re doing here. =_=
2011, ponified Chocolate Rain. 2013, Tay Zonday joined the herd. In other words, Brony world domination is progressing as planned, tut.
Should been posted for the Equestria Girls entry, but I digress. ;P
@Marcos Taborda, too soon to say that, it hasn’t released in theaters yet even. And it has produced a lot of meme’s not listed on this page yet, like the EG version of the “Fluttercry/Character watching TV” meme. Example: http://trixiebooru.org/345713
@TripleD Was there ever any doubt it would happen? When we said “ponify all the memes” we meant it! o_o
Seriously though, this caught me by surprise too. xD

His statement is sensible and logically agreeable, but I still think they deserved the title, because unlike the bank and oil company that got smacked by the law, EA is getting away with their bullshit – this is their punishment.
Eh, clearly deadpool; but wanting to point out that the one that created this entry is also an infamous and notorious anti-brony troll on youtube (unless the exact same username is a coincidence). I wish newbies was more restricted honestly, but I guess KYM want to stay close to the wiki approach, and I can respect that. :3
Uhm, not to put the quality of this otherwise fine piece of article into doubt, but a questionable variation of this sentence is used twice in the article:
“often shockingly perverse and graphic fanfiction and fanart based on the characters and the plot of the show.”
Which is completely unnecessary and far from objective in both cases it was used in my opinion. Only a minority of the art produced is based on NSFW themes. I don’t mind such content being mentioned, but then it should be presented appropriately and in an objective way. So hopefully some editors can get on this case. ^^;
I’m doubting the truth of what he’s saying, he was trolling about it the first time – he was never banned from the previous BronyCons.

MLP:FiM has given us the answer to the meaning of the number 42. The number 42 stands for Friendship :3
Here explained by Twilight: http://bronies.memebase.com/2012/04/20/my-little-pony-friendship-is-magic-brony-the-meaning-of-life/
In my personal opinion MLP FiM is a deserved win because it basically is ALL memes in one (just last episode you could find a poster with a nyan cat reference on it among others). However, that also means I agree that it’s overpowered, since would be like putting “knowyourmeme.com” in one of these polls, lol.
But that aside, those examples used where they give honorable mentions doesn’t fit for KYM, I’ve only seen that done for things that have proven themselves to been overpowered in polls before. – For example, The Hub should consider it for their naughty and nice contests, because the MLP FiM characters proved to be obvious winners in their last one, and seem to be even more so in this current one.
@Platus Dear God, and I thought the rule 64 treatment of Spitfire in the Polish dub was bad. D:
I think this, Cupcakes and Luna Game should just all be collected under one big entry called “MLP Creepy Pasta” or something… Neither Luna Game or this is meme-worthy on their own I feel.
We seriously need an episode where Celestia gets more screen time x3
@Ben You sound flankhurt?
Your first point was opinion – some of us think it’s good, if you don’t that’s your problem and no reason coming here to make your opinion sound like a fact. Some people may like things you don’t, deal with it.
And that it where made for both children and parents alike is not something they came up with later, it has ALWAYS been Laurens work philosophy and goal to create girl shows that can be enjoyed by everyone. And it’s perfectly logical that if parents can enjoy something so can also other grown people.
There’s a cupcake parody created now that is a comedy of all things… xD I never thought anything good would come out of this cupcake thing, and especially not something funny, so this is awesome:
I would like to suggest that the Google Chart for the “sitting lyra” term gets updated to include a “lyra and bon bon” term for comparison.
@ray10k Was thinking somewhere along those lines as well, that during his time imprisoned in stone he’d astral projected or something and walked among the ponies in spiritual form. x3
None of the new additions of Season 2 been added yet. )=
The fun has been doubled since season 1!
Warning: Bronies taking this one to a new level from today: “Scary butt fun!”
@chaoticthunder Well, some names are gender neutral, like Alex, Chris and Kim. Guess you can say Applejack is a gender neutral name in Equestria. ;3
