Article seems pretty reasonable.
On topic though, this is only two days old and you provide no evidence of longevity or spread for this. Looks pretty deadpool to me.
I giggled. Looks promising.
I’m not sure if it needs to be confirmed yet or not and more information is always good so waiting, confirming, and working are all good options.
+1 not deadpool
So there’s a new style of music that’s becoming popular, and people often wear these boots while dancing to it.
Cool story bro.
The unique boots and their association with that music do qualify as a meme of sorts, but it’s not what KYM is best at covering.
waits a day
So, nobody else has any idea what’s going on either?
Enough with the planking variants. It was silly the first time but this is really old.
I’ve seen the video but it doesn’t qualify as a meme by itself.
What is this I don’t even
If national stereotypes are a meme we’re going to need a loooooooot more articles.
@Tom Rose: Know Your Meme is as the name says, a site of memes primarily to learn about memes. Memes can grow from many things and perhaps this could be a meme in the future but it is not. This article is like phoning Merriam-Webster and asking for the word you just invented to be put in the dictionary.
I’m sorry if some other commenters were hasty to condemn you, but you were also hasty in making this article with no idea what a meme is. Your impotent, ignorant, and inconsequential rage is humorous. Feel free to realize your mistake and become a better person for it or continue in failure at your leisure. Either way at least one of us will be happy.
Youtube poops and remixes. This is not a meme.
+1 pie flavored train
What you have described here is not a meme. It is your humorous blog concept.
You’ve gotta be kidding me.

+1 wtf am I reading?
@responses to my concerns about this article:
This thing is only becoming more of a mess. I looked through the pony submemes to see what could be done about standardizing things. I notice that Scratch, Derpy, and Whooves all have their own confirmed pages while the MLP Character Fandom page is just a submission and there are other unconfirmed character based things. I then looked at the feasibility of revising the character fandom article to include all the current information then using that as a model for other conglomerate meme pages.
It doesn’t work. Each meme has a lot of information. Look at Vinyl Scratch’s page. It’s decently long. Her origin, Hasbro’s shout-out, Her eyes behind her goggles and goggles on other characters. All of these are essential information for understanding what’s going on. Individually the sections are short but they add up to make a reasonably beefy article. She needs her own page.
Look at this one. It was a lot more coherent when it was just the “X pony is a Y” article. This page here is stupidly long and the subsections don’t make sense together. KYM as a whole is a mess but this page is especially bad. Get these things on their own pages. They need it for coherence of the article, user friendliness in searching, and lastly for easy loading.
I’m sorry if somepony is upset that there are more pony meme pages than they like. We’re sorry for exacerbating the shortage of blank article pages to put other memes in.
That is an clever and interesting project with a very effective execution. I think I’ll watch a few more times. This is serious artistic stuff.
I have not heard of this but it is interesting, If it’s noteworthy enough to include in published games there’s at least something to it. Article has convinced me that it’s worth my time to look at this. Can we see more examples of use? Images?
Why was this not already here? Quickly, put this page in it’s rightful place. It already looks quite nice and I’m sure it will only improve in the near future.
Why are pony socks and pinkie’s uncanny awareness on here? These do not fit with this article and should be moved.
This has numerous confirmed submemes. Why is it not confirmed?
This is a reasonably common template. +1 confirm
I’ve seen it around. This needs confirmation.
The King and his odd tendencies have become a meme. +1 confirm
It’s a meme. +1 confirm
