Ya know what? He’s right. Bionicles were fucking AWESOME!! (emphasis on “were”, not “are”; Bionicle really slid downhill around Voya Nui)

I get the feeling that “Islamashy” started out as a single piece of cute concept art that got a ton of praise (because you have to admit Fluttershy in a burqa is cute as all get-out), which gave the artist a bunch of ideas to carry on with it. It’s an artistic tic that I know all too well; you start with one good standalone idea, then you start writing backstory for it and you get the urge to expand it more and more, then all of a sudden the character who was supposed to just be a cute Islamic cosplay is now a full-fledged straight-faced Islamic character

Here’s a thought: what are “Teddy bears” called in their universe? Remember that “Teddy bears” on our planet are named after Theodore Roosevelt, who obviously didn’t exist in Equestria…

I seriously doubt they just walked away after they said that. And if they did, Fluttershy’s fish friends in the pond would’ve helped him. And if not, Dragon Quest shows he can swim, or at least tread water. And if not… well, this image. Just saying, I doubt they would’ve just left him there for this very reason

Honestly, it’s not that good. It has no conclusion (in both senses) and the whole premise isn’t that good: RD breaks into Fluttershy’s shower and molests her. That’s it. There’s nothing wrong with it, but it honestly doesn’t stand up on it’s own very well

As a first-generation brony (AKA a /b/rony) this has no effect on my jimmies. I didn’t “join the herd” so to speak to earn a label of edgy independent pride or anything like that. I “joined the herd” because it was the ironic joke du jour. So yes, I am freely admitting that I jumped on a bandwagon, but I don’t give a shit because it was fun. And it’s still fun

Seriously Cody Rhodes, you aren’t getting anywhere. Bronies came from 4chan; we know all your tactics because we trained in the same boot camp

You might get blasted with beams of pure love and kindness every now and then, but at least you’ll never have to attend another boring dinner party with your incestuous uncles

My experience with the Avatar cartoon is almost a mirror image of everyone else’s experience with ponies, i.e. I thought it was garbage until I actually sat down and watched an episode

The real turning point for me was when I saw this incredible blind badass for the first time. And let me tell ya: ponified Toph is a serious contender for Best Pony Bar None EVER

I think you’ll find it’s a lot harder to carry something heavy that’s putting a great deal of pressure on your spine than it is to drag something heavy along. It’s like some people being strong enough to pull a loaded car with a rope, but they wouldn’t be able to carry even half that weight on their backs.
