I am a cartoonist, both online and in print, and a writer. I am a Christian who’s passionately in love with my savior. I am an amateur internet culture analyst who would love to be more than an amateur. And I am happy to help you in any way I can; just feel free to ask.
My Favorite Memes
• Sherlock – This is my favorite television show so far. It’s phenomenally acted and written, and it keeps me on my seat.
• Doctor Who – I just love how silly it is.
• Homestuck – I care too much NOT to be involved. My favorite characters are, in descending order, Terezi, Gamzee, Rufioh, and John.
• Superheroes (DC specificially) – Loving comic books means that superheroes have to be right up my alley, and I do really enjoy them. My top five in descending order are: Green Arrow, Question, Batman, Deadpool, and Angel (X-Men).
• Legend of Zelda – I’ve been playing them for years. Zelda is one of my favorite game franchises to date.
• Ace Attorney – So well written and immersive.
• Professor Layton – UGH SO GOOD. I already love puzzle games, and the stories are so cute in these games that I can’t help but love them.
-Follow the story of Skratch, a “Traveling Problem-Solver”, and his Iconisis partner, “The Unreadable”, as they go from town to town in the mysterious land known as “The Desert Range”!
-This is my blog. I post articles on anything that tickles my fancy. Expect it to be geeky, religious, and silly.
-My twitter. I’d love it if you’d follow me.
What’s On My Mind
I’m in one of those moods because I keep getting reminded of Arrow which I hate passionately and I just want to find a friend who also hates Arrow so whenever I feel bad about it I can go to them and we can be supportive of our mutual hate
The “yourporn” set made me laugh.
Gotta love Zeruel
Meh. The more Deadpool becomes popular outside of his comics, the farther away from the original character people get with interpreting him.
I’d honestly just compliment them on their quality work, and if you want, mention your appreciation of their understanding of the rules.
With all due respect, do you seriously have to say “You know how to create a good entry, unlike other brand new members” on every quality entry? It kind of makes you look elitist.
This only reinforces my belief that the 90s were devoid of creativity and quality control.
The Pokemon snap scenes were pretty cool, though.
You all need to talk about Internet presence and impact more. I love the band, but I don’t see the point of the entry otherwise.
>does not reflect the values of the sorority
HA. And again, HA. Are those the values that get you money from the University, or the real values that you tote every weekend? Because I’m pretty sure most people in Greek these days act the exact same way.

>the only one not being bothered by this
Uploaded an image to Sherlock.
In order of gameplay:
Emi – Shed a few tears
Lilly – Bawled my eyes out for five minutes
Hanako – Cried for about 15 seconds, mostly WTF crying because of rapey ending
Shizune – Didn’t cry at all, mostly due to boredom
Rin – Got close to crying, teared up a bit
@The Power of WHY Yes, I do, because he was still a human being. You may be able to turn him into a piece of meat and write him off as worthless because it makes you feel good, but that man, whatever led him to do the horrible things he did, was still human. He had thoughts, goals, fears, emotions, and a life, and, yes, he chose to throw that away, but I’m not going to dehumanize him for that.
It’s obviously gotten criticism because there will always be someone who will complain, no matter how asinine the complaint is.
MY complaint (lol) is with the male parody version. I honestly dislike that people are continuing to perpetuate the stereotype that men are always arrogant and unfazed, brimming with confidence and little else. It makes us out as uncaring and, in many ways, unhuman. I deal with a lot of insecurity with my physical appearance, regardless of whether its valid, and I don’t want to be told I’m not being manly enough for feeling that way.
Finally, someone made a comment on the YouTube page that this was playing off of women’s insecurities to sell products. That may be true at a level, but it still seems a bit counter intuitive to me. If the entire basis of products like these is beauty and and social acceptance, telling people that they’re beautiful naturally doesn’t seem like a great business strategy.
I find it funny that this meme is basically a prostitution joke.
I think it’s a good song overall.
I MADE THIS JOKE FIRST DANG IT
I FEEL SO ASHAMED BECAUSE IF FOLLOW THIS TUMBLR AND I DIDN’T EVEN THINK TO MAKE AN ENTRY ON IT
This guy is a tool.
The first season was amazing.
I’m in the middle of the second season, and it’s not as good.
@Gaben History and memetic content are two different things. Even after reading what you’ve written, I don’t feel that Chun-Li in any way can be considered popular apart from Street Fighter. Yes, she’s popular online, and for the reasons you’ve listed, but writing an individual entry for her implies she stands out in a way that is different from the rest of the characters in the game, which I don’t agree with. There may very well be a historical precedent to her, but we don’t document things for historical precedent, we document them for independent memetic spread.
Deadpooling on the condition that any work done on the entry to prove me wrong will pull it back out.
Gabe, you’re going to have to explain this one something fierce. This is like saying GLaDOS is popular because she’s a character in the Portal series.
ITS NAWT A MEYMEY ITS JUST A STOOPID GAEM
Edited meme entry PBS Idea Channel.
I don’t really think you need to add information about individual episodes: it would just take away from the focus on the channel as a whole.
