Uhh, a generic rage face/trollface comic with slightly different dialogue constitutes as “new?” You know what, why don’t we just make a page for every trollface, image macros, and advice memes, then?

It gets ridiculous when you start making dozens of pages for each individual Trollface images, and pass them off as a “new meme”. That’s not new, that’s just re-re-re-refried crap. But no, after all, there’s more cash to me milked out of unoriginal content! Everything in this shitty site is also 2 years behind in every single meme.

YTMND itself was a fad. It’s like… the 80s of gag websites. Nobody thinks it’s funny anymore. YTMND’s “fads” are an example of what memes should not be.

But forced memes are still memes. If it succeeds, that is. Forcing a meme is just another non-as-acceptable way of birthing/aborting a meme.

But to be more relavant to this thread: “Metamemeage” is just a fancy word for "I’m an uncreative shit and believe this fuckstick’s theory on memes is true: MEMES JUST DON’T WORK LIKE THAT. If you want to fuse memes, you have to make it work together. You can breed a wolf and a dog together, but you can’t breed a platypus and a armadillo together. Yeah, some people will find it funny, but those are the same people who think Chuck Norris jokes and Portal references are still relevant today.

YTMND itself is just a fad now. I mean, 3 or 4 years ago, that shit was mainstream. It was also YTMND’s fault that before the word “meme” became widespread, we had to use the misused word “fads,” because that’s what they called it. But the memes – no, their application of memes, are crap. Once one meme gets popular, YTMND becomes nothing but. They do not use the memes, they become slaves to it. They depended on them to generate any “real” humor, because everything else is just soundclips or I PUT A MUZAK...
