I really don’t understand the difference between this “tenso” meme and the general photo-zooming type meme that has been going around for several years already where a picture zooms in on an intense and otherwise unnoticed part of a photograph. I don’t have an example to point out right now but with even some basic research I’m sure you could find a picture like this that predates 2009 by at least 4 or 5 years. I remember seeing this type of idea on the somethingawful.com forums a long time ago. Is there something specific about this meme or is “tenso” just the name given to it in Brazil? Because this “zooming in on a crazy face” thing has been around for a while.
