Look, Tim, I know you’re upset. And you’re entitled to your opinion. But can you please step off of the soapbox and keep yourself from ranting for a day or two? Your constant “EQG is going to suck, the show isn’t good anymore, the comics are the only good thing left” arguments are starting to get a little grating and out of place.

I’m just saying, you don’t post a rant on a pic for feels. That’s just bad manners.

I know very well the show won’t last forever, in fact I hope it doesn’t or else it will become like how Spongebob or the Simpsons is now. While you seem to think that the show has jumped the shark, I think that the quality is still high and will still be amazing for years to come, and you’re entitled to your opinions, and while i don’t agree with them, I respect them. Despite all this drama, the fandom itself will never die, as long as we have what mad e the show good to begin with to remember, the fan art, fan fics, and conventions, we’ll be fine.

Star Trek fans dealt with 5 god-awful movies, Avatar fans dealt with an abhorred movie with a bigger budget than this, Star Wars fans dealt with 4 bad movies and tons of canned video games recently, and what will destroy the brony fandom (which is larger than all those other fantoms combined) is a relatively low budget film that will only be shown in select theaters and has good potential and can at worst be mediocre?

Oh yeah, I think the IDW comics look pretty good. I haven’t really had time to read them, but they look awesome. Thanks for the heads up.

Even if Equestria Girls never happened, I seriously doubt Hasbro would make a movie of FiM. I think the only reason why the other Hasbro movies were successful is because they were live action, and the general masses wouldn’t take an animated pony movie that seriously. And Hasbro would never want to make another 2D animated movie because every single one that the did make ended up failing at the box office, I don’t think they’d risk that again, with or without the brony fandom. So EqG’s existance wouldn’t have harmed the chances of a FiM movie to begin with, seeing how Hasbro would never make one in the first place.

Also, try to see the brighter side of things for once! I’m getting concerned how pessimistic you can be, don’t take this as an insult, just see that EqG won’t harm FiM directly, we still have the books, trading cards, and comics, and if we have to wait a year for season 4 because of EqG, we can all learn to be patient. With that all said, here’s something to help cheer you up.

Sup. Thought I’d reply to this here -

I’ve heard that making Twilight an Alicorn was more or less a decision on Hasbro’s part to sell more toys that the show’s creators didn’t have much say in. Because of this I just don’t think we can say that the entirety of the show is past the point of no return without seeing the quality of episodes that the writers have more creative control over go significantly downhill, given that they don’t have Hasbro breathing down their necks as heavily most of the time.

Don’t worry, it was a good article. The deadpool was given because of the content, not the quality. After some discussion with other moderators, we came to the conclusion that a deadpool just works best. Humanized is just too broad overall, it’s not a art subject dedicated to MLP. If we’re gonna make an article for it, we might as well make one for Pokémon and other fandoms. It’s the same reason as why I rejected Maid Outfits for MLP once, they can be found in any fandom. Giving it a mention for MLP only wouldn’t really make sense.

But nonetheless, it was a good article. If you think you can help improve other articles, feel free to request editorship.

As for possible improvements would it be there. Your article contained a nice amount of text, but lacked the images at certain parts. Don’t make it contain text only. When explaining certain aspects, image examples make both a nice adding and help with the explanation. This also allows you to make your explanations a bit smaller. You made them too big sometimes, this creates distraction.

@RussoonFodoro: As they say, the squeaky wheel gets the oil. I think that the political agenda KYM’s new owners have been integrating into the site is annoying, and the problem is only going to get worse if people like me make ourselves invisible.

Okay, so you’ve got fair contributions. But why do you constantly complain about KYM’s Liberal bias? I hate to say love-it-or-leave-it, but don’t attack a site you constantly use. It’s annoying to other members and can easily be thought of as trolling.
