you can also scrap the “Einskanal” aka “Onechannel” references. When you started researching the topic our mods had the bright idea to bring back the futaba design and name of our predecessor (not related) for a couple of days.

The ten users of Einskanal were greatly amused, the rest not really, tings were resolved a couple of days later. WE VER SOME SUCH OF AMUSED!

The posting of Polandball here has provoked quite a wave of Polish butthurtliness, mainly along the lines of “In fact this is Indonesiaball” or “Poland is strong!11!!!!11”.

When you look at the original Polandball-strips, Poland is always pictured in a Chaplinesque-The-Tramp way: the lovable underdog who is ganged up upon, but somehow always stays positive and true to himself.

Which from my point of view at least fits Poland quite well.

The Polish response to these strips usually is in the “Chaplinesque-The-Dictator” line – Poland kicks everybodys ass and is superiour, mighty, etc.
Which is quite ironic to say the least.

After pulling up my oldest Polandball files, I’d definitely set the time of first posting around mid September.

Polandball was first introduced to 4chan by some /int/anons in early October. Acceptence depended on the American/European-shift: most Americans hate(d) it, Yorpeons appreciated it.

Polandball-threads were flagged for archivation a couple of times, but sadly never accepted.

I wish myself good luck… why? Because I’m NOT behind seven proxies.
