Torrey Meeks is a freelance writer and videomaker.

In 2008 he cut Bill O’Reilly’s vintage meltdown on Inside Edition to a dance beat by RevoLucian. The video went viral and was nominated for Best Viral Video of 2008 by the Webby Awards.

Close on the heels of O’Reilly, a 3-minute documentary he created for the YouTube and Pulitzer Center Project: Report challenge was nominated as a Round 1 top ten finalist.

His Round 2 video, Juarez: City at War, led to three multimedia reports on U.S.-Mexico border issues for The Washington Times.

His work has been highlighted in Wired Magazine, The New York Observer, and Rolling Stone.

Hey, I love Rocketboom :) Before I’d ever made that O’Reilly remix video I read your guys site all the time so I’m thoroughly excited that you’ve got an entry on the freak out and an embed of the remix video!

I also did one to Revolucian’s Bale Out video, which I posted about 48-hours after the whole thing broke, which it turned out was too late due to the meme KOD – supersaturation and corporate media coverage.
