Anyway, my first problem is that I think you kinda missed one of my big points. You said “people tend not to let their views be challenged even if they’re in the wrong”. But I said “it all depends on the individual and the way they see things- no one is right or wrong” You see, the one thing that makes it hard to see this is that there’s several things that most, if not all, of the people that surround us have the same opinion on. This tends to make us believe that it is fact. For example, you mentioned racism. It may be hard for you, and even me, to see this, but the concept of egalitarianism isn’t fact. The reason is that it’s intangable- evolution, on the other hand, is fact because it’s proven science, which has its basis in tangable things. Does that mean that I don’t give a shit if some black person gets beat up because of the color of his skin? Well sure, if OF-FUCKING-COURSE NOT! But that still doesn’t make it fact. So I’m not going to go crusading against a problem if I don’t see it.
