Hey, have you looked into the Pony Fortress 2 forums yet? It’s a pretty good way to get to make some new friends on the servers, and is always good for when KYM is moving a bit slow. We only get one pony thread and one TF2 thread here, so it’s pretty good to have the chance to talk there about various pony/tf2 things without having to derail anybody, too.

replying to your reply to me in the pony thread – the reason a lot of people hit from a greater distance than you would expect with their shotguns in Blops 2 might be because most people who use them probably have long barrel equipped. I generally don’t have a problem with other shotgunners because I also have the long barrel equipped on my KSG, making it’s crazy range even crazier. So yeah, I really think keeping my distance probably would have made all the difference.

But meh, I suddenly really like pistols now for some reason anyways.

Yeah, I had an account, but I wasn’t ever active in interacting with other users. So you’re new to mostly everyone here.

But yes, I appreciate your brand of activity, and I listed the reasons there. I don’t know if that will actually carry over into modship, but I think highly of you.

To be honest, I saw this day coming for a long time. I knew that the more people used scripts on their profiles, sooner or later some hacker will catch on and try to do something dirty with it.

I knew that as soon as that happened, scripts on profiles would be permanently banned and all I can do is accept that. Because as a programmer, it’s exactly what I would do if I were in the staffs situation.

In fact, I would have never even allowed scripts on profiles in the first place as I understand the numerous security threats it posed. That’s why I refused to tell people how to mod their profile.

Blocking scripts isn’t hard either. The forum already used it so banning it from profiles was just one click away for the KYM developer. If he wanted to end the madness after seeing it abused, he could do so after one lunch break…and so he did.

Oh well. It’s only a profile.
