Hi I’m Tyler.
I’ve been studying electronics and more recently computer systems for as long as I can remember.
The internet just comes with the territory.
FUN FACT: (because I like fun facts)
On an instruction-based level, there’s nothing a computer can do that a human can’t. It’s just that they’re billions of times faster, and they don’t give you lip about having to add 1+1, 400,000,000 times.
I’m not sure it’s meme-worthy, but I have seen plenty of vids of youtube using binaural beats.
Basically, you play two signals, (let’s say in the 300 Hz range) one at 300 Hz out one speaker, and one at 310 Hz out the other. I don’t know the details, but while playing both at the same time, your brain interprets the signal as being the difference between the two; in this case, 10 Hz, creating a sort of “beat” in your head.
They’re very interesting, and have found the attention of many scientists and psychologists alike.
1. Look up Vihart on Youtube.
I say it needs work, but other than that, you have my confirm!
Eeyup. He just lost the election.
THE INTERNET DID A GOOD THING! 8D
REVA=Riendo en voz alta
If this passes…America and maybe the world would be up in arms.
“If a government won’t give you your basic rights, you’d better get another government!”
If this passes, I think there’s two reasons we would need a new government:
1. This bill violates the first amendment of the U.S. Constitution in many ways including the right to free speech, the right to peacefully assemble, and the freedom of the press. These are three of our most basic rights we have, and not having them gives the government a huge amount of power against us. More importantly, these freedoms play a huge part in making America the land of the free. These are our most sacred beliefs, and we will not put up with having them taken away.
2. IF CONGRESS IS STUPID ENOUGH TO PASS THIS, I THINK WE MAY HAVE ALREADY HAD A PROBLEM TO BEGIN WITH.
This isn’t a meme.
I’ve actually heard this around not on the internet but in what normal people call, “life”.
Well, now I know what the fuck my cousin was talking about when he was yelling at the TV.
+1 Confirm. Lotsa potential here
I’ve never seen this around anywhere. Something about this entry doesn’t seem right. It seems…made up.
The peanut episode……… possibly the biggest cock-block in the history of the world performed flawlessly by a fucking magical bean.
Whelp. it’s definitely a meme. But it needs lots of work, and way more pictures. I’ve seen far to many examples of this. Maybe I’ll add some…
This seems really forced… Then again, maybe it will catch on. Is a meme not a meme just because it’s forced?
I find it very hard to believe that this bill even got this far. I mean, it’s the freakin’ internet! How do you censor the internet?!? I don’t understand the idea behind this bill either. If entertainment companies think that by doing this they can sell more movies, then I can’t wait to see the looks on their faces when they figure out how wrong they are! The size of the uprising it would cause would be absolutely mind boggling!
The power they currently have is already too much. Some companies even break the constraints of the copy write laws that are currently in place! giving them the power to take down or block sites that make even the slightest reference to copywrited material!
This bill must die. It can’t live. To several billion people and companies across the world, the internet is worth trillions of dollars each year! I can barely believe they’re even considering this…
Ummm +1 confirm on the grounds that it’s listed as a site.
In my opinion, listing wikis as memes just sounds…….wrong. (for lack of a better word)
But they are DEFINITELY some of the more prominent sites out there, and they definitely deserve a place on KYM.
Entries go in memes come out.
You can’t explain that.
“Me gusta” is translated to English as “I like it”. However, the literal meaning of the verb gustar
is “to be pleasing”, Therefore, “me gusta” literally translates as “it is pleasing to me”. We translate it differently in English because “it’s pleasing to me” sounds incredibly awkward in modern English. The proof is in the conjugation of the verb itself: in “me gusta” gustar is conjugated in the singular 3rd person, not first person as would be the case if it meant “I like it”
Holy shit, I did this.
DEFINITELY WORTH IT. They all started going off at random intervals, and it lasted for like, a 1/2 hour XD
Lol. The funny thing is I live in Detroit and this is all completely true. XD XD XD XD DX DX DX
I’ll be perfectly honest here…I just don’t see it :/
A meme isn’t something that comes and goes that quickly. Furthermore, there aren’t many spin-offs or derivitives. Unless there is a whole shit-ton of other stuff you didn’t include, I foresee a deadpool in your future.
