Hi I’m Tyler.
I love the internet, and I’m proud to say I grew up in it’s generation.
Besides that I enjoy manga and anime to a certain extent, foreign language (ESPECIALLY SPANISH!), Science, electricity, chemistry, and whatever you call the study of the internet.
If I had to pick a favorite meme, it would probably be DERP.

So I’m not so competent with researching things and actually creating an end product from said research, so I’d thought I’d put this out there: Does anyone remember that old thing where you had some text or whatever that asked you if you believe in ghosts, and then your CD drive ejects on it’s own? I remember getting an email like that when I first started using the internet back in the 90s. I think It’s be worth maybe creating an article about, but I can’t seem to find a working version of it anywhere....
I don’t know anybody who died in 9/11. Heck, I probably don’t even know anybody who knew anybody who died in 9/11. But it still hits me right in the heart… I was in 2nd grade when it happened. I got a call from the office saying that my mom was here to take me home. When I got to the lobby, saw many other kids going home too. My mom didn’t speak. She took my hand, and we walked out to the car. When I asked my mom what was going on, I realized she was in tears. The two minute car ride home was the longest...
Electricity, chemistry, computers…pretty much science in general.
We’re actually considering ending our tv service. We just watch everything online or on DVDs from the library. Besides that though, our provider sucks. (AT&T) I myself don’t really watch TV anymore. The last time I saw a TV show was prolly a few months ago. I do think that the internet is killing TV a little, but hey! guess what? it isn’t going away!
Well, not boobs if that’s what you’re wondering…
I wanted to post this question on my diy forum, but it’s down today for some reason.. Does anyone know if there is a way to determine the power rating of a resistor mathematically? Or is it just something that must be listed on the packaging? I have a resistor that doesn’t give a power rating; just a resistance. 50k. I don’t have any other data. except for the voltage and amperage I want to run through it.
Banned for putting hats on toasters.
Banned because all toasters toast toast, not wood.
Maybe they intend to, but they won’t. The “crimes” people would be arrested for would have been committed by at least 25% of the population. That’s about 76.5 million people to find and put in jail. They’d be hard pressed to do that. Along with problems with having enough room, the sheer amount of money it would cost is insane. The entertainment industry should enforce it’s own copywrite rules if it loves them so much. Tell ya what; if the entertainment industry somehow comes up with that much money,...
Damn it. I knew it would be something stupid I over looked. __ Anyways, thanks a ton! I just needed to know how to get one of the velocities for x or y, then I could do the rest on my own.
So, is anyone out there good at physics? My teacher gave us a story problem for a ton of extra credit, and I’d really like to get it right. I need to be able to explain how I got the answer too though. Here’s the problem: “A soccer ball is kicked on a level playing field with an initial velocity of 12 m/s and stays in the air for 2.0 s before hitting the ground.” I have to find the distance it traveled horizontally, and what angle it was initially kicked at. I do know that the acceleration due to...
Banned for being too difficult
Well, that was inevitable. XD
Yeah, sorry. I’m just really passionate about this. (-_-;)
Currently, as far as I know, the bill is still being debated in the senate. There is also a filibuster on it. (YESSSSSSSSSS!) After this, it goes to the house of reps, then if voted on favorably, to the president to sign or veto.
I’m going to list some reasons I think that this bill should not pass so here ya go: 1. The internet being a free and expressive media without restrictions is worth trillions of dollars to companies around the globe annually. 2. Possibly one of the quickest growing occupational fields is information technology. You’d be hard pressed to find a business that couldn’t benefit from the internet. 3. The “amount of movies sold” is completely irrelevant when it comes to this bill. The repercussions on the...
So today in class one of my friends started a debate in class about homosexuality. Not about whether it was right or wrong, but on whether it comes at birth, or if you have a choice. He believed it was a choice, while the teacher believed it came at birth. The debate went on and on in a heated arguement (mostly between the two) and before we knew it, we got absolutely no work done that day! :D But I’m curious as to what other people think. So, I thought I’d start a discussion about it here, share my...
¡El español no es mi idioma nativa, pero lo hablo muy bien! Creo que sería una gran idea para traducir las reglas a otras idiomas. Necesitamos más culturas a participar en KYM. (¿Estoy haciéndolo bien?)
Well, our scientific analysis has determined that these are indeed, “super fleas” I tried getting my mom to use salt, but she said, “no that’s stupid” __ I’ve heard of “those” before. I’ve never really tried them, but I’m willing. One thing… I have a guinea pig. They’re a little bit bigger than rats… will he be effected?
