Also, Morn from Star Trek Deep Space Nine, the silent alien barfly (his name is thought to be an anagram of Norm, as in Norm from Cheers).
And of course the first-guy-on-the-team-to-die, Pvt. Wierzbowski from Aliens. Google ‘Wierzbowski hunters’.

Edison was a scientist? Engineer sure, inventor sure. But scientist? Bit of a stretch.

Commented on Pizza is a Vegetable

Pizza isn’t just a vegetable; it’s all the five food groups: bread (the crust), protein (the salami), dairy (the cheese), fruit/veg (the tomato sauce) and fat, loads and loads of fat. It’s the basis of my diet; I eat pizza every day and I’ve nev-- HHHNNNGGGG

Peter Sellers also did the Beatles’ Help! as a religious sermon.
There are also versions of ‘She Loves You’ (cockney, Irish, and nazi featuring Dr Strangelove).

I’d like to see as supercut of:
person X is about to leave the room
person Y says ‘X?’.
X turns around and Y says ‘thank you’.

Another really bad one is ‘I have something very important to tell you’, ‘Me too!’, ‘Well do yours first’, ‘[utterly unimportant stuff] and what was your thing?’ ‘Oh, never mind’

And of course ‘What are you gonna do?’ ‘Something I should have done a long time ago.’

The trailer for the cinematographic masterpiece Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel has the rodets spinning in a kitchen appliance to their version of the song. The cover version is also on the soundtrack. Sounds like this meme just went mainstream.

Not sure if this is worthy of the meme label. Fan obsession about minor characters is as old as Boba Fett. Check out eg the Wierzbowski Hunters (http://www.wierzbowski,net), where fans try to find footage of the first guy from the “Aliens” away team to die a horrible death.
Unfortunately, the page “Morn: The Man, The Myth, The Legend” (dedicated to the taciturn alien barfly from Star Trek Deep Space Nine, his name an anagram of Cheers’ Norm) is offline.
