Blasphemer’s Maledictions by Azarath Review Arising the Black Flame: I couldn’t actually find this song, but it’s only 4 seconds long, so I assume it’s intro filler.Supreme Reign of Tiamat: Brutal as hell, great opener. Amazing drums and vocals! I can’t understand a single word he says but I can guess it’s something unholy. Awesome evil laugh around 2 mins 45 secs. Pretty top notch death metal, looking forward to the rest of the album. 9/10Crushing Hammer of the Antichrist: Another pretty sweet...

Should an entry be created for "Bitch I'm Flawless"?

I’ve been seeing a great deal of pictures lately with text that says “Bitch I’m Flawless”, usually in response to a “U mad?” picture. I couldn’t find an entry or forum post for this on the site. Does anyone think we should attempt to make one? Other comments perhaps? Example:

Sounds good captain, just post a review and suggestion whenever you’re free. My review of Azarath will come shortly, but for now here is my next album suggestion: Never Cross the Dead by Hooded Menace This stuff’s brutal as you-know-what, guaranteed!

@Jules: Slow down there, bro. Give Captain Badass at least a few days, he probably just has more of a life than us. Why don’t we give him until Tuesday evening to post a review/album suggestion? Then we can move on to Azarath.

@ Jules: Skin O My Teeth is actually a Megadeth cover, which explains the thrashiness. They Will Return by Kalmah Review Hollow Heart: The thing that instantly hits me when I hear not only this song, but the whole album, is how each and every musician has complete mastery over their respective instrument. The vocals are unique and amazing, the bass is audible, the guitars are kick-ass, the synth is mind blowing, and the drums are perfect. This is top-tier melodic death for sure, 8.8/10Swamphell: ...

Deconstruction by The Devin Townsend Project ReviewPraise the Lowered: Such a chill and psychedelic beginning. The descent into madness approach to this song is awesome. Great start, 8.5/10Stand: Cool lyrics, for example the repetition of “Some will __” So far this album has been very original, I’ve certainly never heard anything exactly like it. Some might be turned off by the crazy 9 min 38 second run time, but long songs never bother me, for example I’ll listen to the whole 20 min Dante’s...

Long post time! @Jules, I wouldn’t worry about choosing inaccessible music, I for one will listen to anything and everything with an open mind. Ill Nino ReviewTe Amo… I Hate You: Holy crap, it’s eerie how much this band sounds like Linkin Park! This song wasn’t bad, but it’s been a while since I’ve liked Nu Metal. This doesn’t exactly make me want to go back. 5/10How Can I Live: Not a fan of the lyrics, “All the lies in me, all of it dies in me, how can I live without you?” Pretty shallow. Cool...

@captain: Februus’ album is the first to last album, yours is the last album. @everyone: Seeing as this album is nearly impossible to find, we will skip it. That means the last album for round 1 is: Confession by Il Nino. After your review post your round 2 album choices!

METAL Album Exchange Club

Moving right along, the first to last album for round 1 is: Februus Doesn’t Love You Anymore by Februus According to Kalmo that’s what it’s called. It should look like this: Good luck finding it, it seems to be pretty obscure.

Thanks for joining us Jules! Also thanks for being considerate, there’s only two more albums left til we switch the rules a bit. Then we’ll just review in the order they’re submitted. Warriors of the World by Manowar Review. I’m going to start doing song by song, just because. Call to Arms: Pretty cool opening, exactly what you’d expect from Manowar, power metal wankery with some genuinely cool riffs, keyboards, etc. Cheesy lyrics, but that’s fine with me! 8.4/10 Fight for Freedom: Not bad, very generic,...

Alright, time for some feedback. A lot of people have submitted albums before the current round finishes, which is against the rules. Should we change the rules so that albums can be submitted any time and then we’ll just do them in the order they were submitted? Or do you have a better idea? Let me know.

Age of Winters by The Sword Review Celestial Crown: Super doomy, and I mean that in the best way possible! It’s only a minute and a half intro song though. It just sets the mood. Barael’s Blade: Few things make me want to sit back and chill as much as doom metal. Not sure if this is really doom metal but it’s close enough. Epic song, reminds me of early Sabbath. Freya: This song never gets old, that opening riff is just awesome. The atmosphere this band’s songs create is so powerful, it blows me...

Sorry I haven’t posted in forever. School started back up and I just don’t have as much time. Anyways, I’m sure all 2 of us still participating will appreciate it if we move on. Here’s the next album: Age of Winters by The Sword

Excellent suggestion drdope, but please wait to post suggestions until the next round. On to the review! Leviathan by Mastodon Review: Blood and Thunder: Pretty freaking awesome. I’ve heard this song before, but it never gets old.I am Ahab: I loved the guitar and drums in this song. I also like mastodon’s unique sounding vocals.Seabeast: This song has a pummeling sound to it that’s really spectacular. It’s seriously relentless.Island: Brutality to the max, just the way I like my music! Love the...
