You’re right I guess. My main point of logic was with a similar situation with people wanting to add starcraft as a meme, or TV shows. Usually it ends up being that the specific memes get their own articles, but seeing as FiM itself is the thing getting the attention, I can understand your reasoning.

It was just my opinion anyway. :)

Dear Mr. Boomer,

The reason why MLP:FiM can be considered a meme is because of how the show spread to a fandom outside of the show’s target demographic. Consider the fact that the show would have probably been overlooked by much of the internet if the article critiquing it was not posted or shared on 4chan’s /co/ board. As for those submemes you mentioned, most of it seems just restricted to the fandom for now, so I don’t think we’ll need any submeme entries for now.
