I think it's only a matter of time. Assuming the FiM subculture doesn't die off too much in the next few months, the people that post here and in the comments section of the FiM article will probably start posting in other threads too.

Daniel Vazquez, RandomMan, and some other elder users have already been in other threads, and I know badsitrep, The Anti-Troll, and I have begun to post in other threads. People on this thread have shown interest in memes outside of FiM and ponified memes (Bronydude11 by himself has found several in the past couple of days.). RandomMan let me have some editing privileges for an article that could use some more research, and I'm going to start on that in earnest either in the next few hours or the next few days…
 
 
Just think of the MLP General thread as being symbolic of the entire KYM Brony community. We came originally for the ponies, but we're more inquisitive about Internet culture and viral spread than most folk on the Web. We're already starting to contribute the overall community. Just a matter of time…

I'm going to second that. I only started using this account at first so I could contribute to the pony meme. I've branched out since then.

So we have Fluttershy using weed and Pinkie using cocaine. What kind of drugs do the other ponies use? Even, better, if the ponies were all drugs, what would they be?

yes, that would be better, ponies on drugs would pick up easier than pinkie pie on cocaine or flutterhigh

I get you. But I doubt it'll ever pick up. Some were wondering about Stoner Spike for a while, but that one died into oblivion. So I doubt Ponies on Drugs ever becomes something.

It's not that nobody likes the idea, it's your way of bringing it. You say it in a way that you believe Ponies on Drugs are a meme and that we should help it develop (I see you already stepped of the idea). If it has potential, let the internet develop it. If the meme evolves enough, who knows, maybe some day…..

Enough people here (including myself) follow MLP and its possible memes. We've seen enough attempts at creating pony memes to know the do's and don'ts. Quite some "memes" from the first 2 episodes of season 2, which people believed would join MLP till infinity, are already dead or heading that way. Examples like "Scootaloo is a Dodo", "Sweetie Belle is a Dictionary" and "Spike is Rainbow Dash". Fanworks mentioning them still pop-up, but they're by far not popular enough to be mentioned somewhere here.

I'd like to point out that this is a message to everyone here. We've made a 1 week rule for a reason, don't force your own ideals. The true memes will be discovered. You're free to discuss them and everything, just don't start pages and say they should be added to another article the day after.

I'm scared when I think of the number of "memes" that will pop-up based on the costumes from the Halloween episode.

today was my first day on the kym forums, and ive stirred up a mess, from getting my first thread closed after 5 minutes to forcing a meme, maybe im just not the forum kind, ill just stick to uploading pictures, w.e its late im going to sleep, bye my fellow bronies

So I watched The Lion King in 3D earlier today. Major nostalgia there. Didn't know that Disney made fun of itself with the "It's a Small World" part until I watched it today. Pretty awesome thing. The movie definately still holds up in terms of quality.
To keep this pony related, someone find (or make) a ponified version of Morgan Freeman. He was in a preview before the movie for a movie about a dolphin where he reprises his role of God.

Well Irons would be a might similar to De Lancie as a villain, I'm more interested in that rumor about Ellen Mclain (GLaDOS) getting a VA gig for season 3.

Depending on how long ago it occured, I apparantly did. But boy that would be epic. I smiled so much when Scar was on screen, he is a completely badass villain.

Meh, Scar's great in the fist and second acts, but he loses a lot of his badassery when he actually becomes king for the third. But I'll give it to him, he's got the best song in the movie by a looooooong shot.

Now if we wanna talk Disney villains the "Shadow Man" from Princess and the Frog is one of my personal favorites. He's a muthabuckin' voodoo priest! You can't get any more badass then that! (He's also got the best song in the movie, I'm sensing a pattern here)

Lancie is more of a trickster villain.

Jeremy Irons would be a scheming villain.

Sure they both using trickery as their forte but with different styles.

That being said, I wouldn't mind Ellen Mclain as a villain. Either her GLaDOS style or announcer style (she's the announcer for Team Fortress 2 BTW!)
