To be honest I don't listen to much old music. I recently realised I love the Beatles but other than that i only listen to the odd Jimi Hendrix/Queen/David Bowie song.

As for that song, I certainly found it interesting. As soon a I hear a song like that I find myself trying to work out the time signature. The use of 7/4 was definitely cool but I thought the 3 minute pure instrumental section was a little bit excessive. Over all the song was pretty cool but not something I would listen to again.

On the topic of all this electronic music being passed around, I've never really been a fan. I don't know why but i just prefer real instruments. I recently listened to Korn's new electronic album and although I like the metal influence, the fact that it's electronic put me off.

What's your favorite band?

I personally like the SOIL and "PIMP" Sessions as far as death jazz goes. It's really interesting that an album with such a wide breadth of nation influences on it would come from Japan, though.

Death Jazz is cool and all, but there is NOTHING like Neon Zydeco Rockabilly. Check it out here and here. YouTube actually put ads on that one, it's pretty popular.

Anyway, lemme post something that isn't stupid.

I don't always listen to radio, hell I basically never do. But I accidentally discovered this, and now its my source for all things with low-bass music.

I don't really like any modern music to be honest. The only albums that came out this year that I listened to were:

1.Wasting Light, Foo Fighters

2.In Waves, Trivium

So that's my top two I suppose…

I just realised that at the top of this page, I said I don't listen to old music and at the bottom I said I don't listen to modern music. What I mean by that is most of the music I listen to is from 1980-2005.

I've been going through just about everything made by DJ Hidden lately who I discovered only today. His D&B is comparable to Black Sun Empire and Noisia so I'm loving every inch of it.

His style ranges from track to track. Some are smooth and atmospheric, others are hard and chaotic

Radiohead's New Single is Out Today

Fucking Epic, if I do say so myself.

Necroing this thread because one of my favourite DJ's/producers brought out a new album.

His name is Goreshit and he's not really specialized on one specific genre. For example, in his early years he only produced Lolicore (He's basically like a Lolicore-pioneer,he kinda revolutionized the genre), but now he's mainly making Drum'n'Bass, breakcore and IDM. His new album is also a DnB-album, so if you're into this genre or just into electronic music, you should definitely check out his bandcamp.

Anyway, I've been doing a kind of Song of the Day thing on my profile which nobody cares about/pays attention to, so here's some of that:

I love DnB, you got my attention.

I can't say I'm too fond of the high pitched squeaky vocals in "Blue girl on Sunday". Reminds me too much of hampster dance however I'm listening to the "gnb" album and it sounds more my style.
