I'm joking. Regarding the topic of OC's from the previous page. I don't really have an OC for myself. I have some good ideas for one, but whenever I think about them they seem stupid and I scrap them. I'm also no good at drawing whatsoever, but I don't really like the pony creator on deviantart. In conclusion, I'm gonna stay without an OC.

Also, anyone have any good way to help me out with that poem thing I typed about a while back? School's out in a week and I wanna get right on it. I now have a good grasp on the basic idea and the way it's gonna work out, I just need character names and such. Also, I wanted to open up with a wandering bardpony going to Ponyville to recite this "long handed down poem". That a good idea?

ORIGINAL CHARACTER! DO NOT STEAL!

This is my OC. His name is Shadow Embrace.

His backstory is that he is the cousin of Luna, but he wasn't able to visit her often because he's constantly exploring dungeons and fighting big monsters. Yes, he's an alicorn. Because he's family of Luna his power is that of controlling darkness. You currently can't see his right eye, but that is one of a robot and can shoot lasers. The armor plate on his chest wouldn't be necessary with his strength, but it covers up a nasty scar he got during one of his many battles. The rings on his legs serve as weapons which he controls during battle with his magic, the sides can open up and reveal hidden blades.

After a while Luna asked him to go to Ponyville where he stayed for a time. He became best friends with the mane six and often helps them out, because he's just that cool. He's also the current boyfriend of Twilight Sparkle. Besides his old habit of exploring dungeons and fighting big monsters he also helped Rainbow Dash get into the Wonderbolts and he often joins them in their performances after they were amazed by his skill.

Let's not forget to mention all those times Shambrace there saved Equestria (and probably the entire universe). I hear he somehow single-hoofedly mastered the elements of harmony, fought off an army of griffons, punched out an Ursa Major, and got married to both his girlfriend Twilight AND Fluttershy. All in one day. Oh, and he was originally human. Luna too.

i don't have one (though i tried to make one once). my first and only attempt ended in such a heinous abomination of all things good holy in this world that i immediately abandoned my twisted creation in disgust. not even the most vile Eldritch creatures can compare to the sheer horror of my own construct. may the poor, poor pixels whose lives were forever tainted by my corruption rest in piece.

Guess this is as appropriate a time to claim a page for Wild Fire as ever.

oh hey, a while back i had an idea for a research paper (not for school) about Memes, with particular focus on the people and Netizens behind them, and how they spread.
i wanted to do it themed towards connecting Memes to similar and analogous biological systems, such as Negative and Positive Feedback, evolution, trophic levels, life cycles, stuff like that. in order to get comments and feedback on the stuff i'll be writing, i wanted to put it on the forums here (presumably in the Meme Research section). i was wondering how i should do this.
since i'll be actively working on it while i'm posting, i figured i should make each section of the paper as a separate thread topic, with links to each part, in a once-a-week series style.
is this a good idea, or should i put it all in one thread?

I'd go with slamming it all together in one thread. People might lose interest after the second thread.

Also in General, gets you more viewers and thereby participants.

Is it the national day of OC or something?

He tagged the entry "NSFW" obviously because his OC is too badass to be handled without gloves.

But the tags should make it obvious he's probably trolling.

That kind of stuff kind of creeps me out for some reason. I also refuse to read my little dashie because Algeron confirmed what I already suspected about it, the guy is kinda creepy.

Can we move on from the topic of OC ponies? Sure it cool to have one but it would be nice to talk about something else. Mostly for the fact that I have no artistic ability, I can draw backgrounds but I cannot draw people/animals so I cannot create an OC pony unless I commission someone to create one for me after I submit to them a ruff design. Has anything else interesting happened?
