So, in your opinion, why do you suppose Hasbro's MLP line is outperforming all of their other toy lines, including properties like Transformers? I mention that one because as much as the movies were disliked strongly by some (myself included), they were all considered a commercial success. With such major films to the Transformers name and just as well-established a history in both television and toys, why is MLP so far ahead? I'm definitely not suggesting that we're entirely to thank for that, all I'm saying is that with all the advertising of the show and even purchases of the merch that bronies do, at least SOME effect is being made. That's all. Would you really call the fanbase insignificant when Hasbro itself seems to be catering to it?
Edit: Once again, I know how well-established MLP already is. And yes, Hasbro is definitely giving a LOT of "winks" to bronies. The season one DVD pack, NMM and Vinyl Scratch toys (especially the DJ), the billboards, I mean come on, even a Derpy toy. We may be talking about millions of little girls to our hundreds of thousands, but that's still hundreds of thousands we're talking about. How significant bronies are is debatable, but it IS there, to whatever degree.
@404
Now is probably not the best time to suggest new names, we've only got a couple of pages to go. Unless someone suddenly has the most brilliant epiphany for a name ever, we should probably just try to pick from among the current options.
I'm sticking with KYM Pony General Episode VI: Return of The Poni
because I really don't think it's a good idea to draw too much attention to thread derailments, like the >implying one does.
@Zaranth
lol already posted that a couple pages back.
Here's a comic. I love comics.
I wish it were this easy.
