I Love you verbose!

If you could date/marry one pony( humanized, find a pic of how you would want her to look) which one would it be? why? give many reasons. I still need to think, so I will answer it in bit.

As if I even needed to say it.

Reasons:
1: She's mai waifu.
2: She's mai waifu.
3: She's mai waifu,
4: I really like her… mane?

If you could date/marry one pony( humanized, find a pic of how you would want her to look) which one would it be? why? give many reasons.

Hmm I don't know about marrying but I could try dating, maybe. Lets start with the mane 6:

AJ?
Too conservative

Rarity?
Too posh

RD?
Too assertive

Fluttershy?
Could work, we have enough in common though we both might be too shy to start anything. Could make for a very sweet and cute date but also a potentially boring one

Pinkie?
Of course! Everyone here could get a successful date going with her. You just know it would be the most awesome and fun date ever. Only problem is you will have to battle all the other guys who also trying to get her attention.

Twilight?
Also a likely match due to sharing geek natures. A date with her could be something different. i can imagine taking her to a LAN party. Rare dating opportunity there. I bet she would enjoy a trip to the museum too. Can't do that with too many girls. The possible downside might be her own awkwardness in the situation.

Just going by gut feel I actually feel more inclined to go with Flutters here. Although I can't elaborate why at this time. I'll go into other characters in a moment

But I have a feeling most of us will choose either Twilight or Pinkie

I would say Pinkie Pie, like this:

But anyways, I'll talk personality.
As you guys might be able to tell, I joke around a lot and am generally just a goofy guy. I just can't be serious for long. I don't imagine any of the other ponies being able to put up with me at all times as well as pinkie pie would. I know she is really hyper, but Im the same way usually( except on my lazy days). It also helps that she is my favorite character. I can't Imagine much that would make it hard for me to be with Pinkie. The only thing would be that she has to throw parties with booze and drugs. Her lame Pin the tail on the Pony and balloons won't cut it with me. haha
But seriously, I would have the most fun just messing around and joking with her than whatever I would be doing the the other ones.

Anyways, I remember that time before TL;DRs, before shitstorms, before this thread began descending into arguments which are hopefully over at this point. And back in the good old days, we replied to everything with images (I think I replied with words, but meh). So I'd like us to return to those days.

Well, duh.

I don't really mind awkward. As long as I can relate to her, then I don't really mind the fact that she's not great in social situations. And I don't think that Twilight would be that bad in them. Studying under who is essentially the queen of Equestria, I'm sure she's been trained to be cordial in most social situations, even if she's not particularly comfortable with them. I'd also think that she'd be great in length conversations. She knows a lot about various different topics, so even though other people would gloss over, I probably could sit and hear about Starswirl the Bearded for a couple of hours. And I think she could appreciate my long-windedness along with my moments where I just want to listen and don't want to talk.

Also, I love Megasweet's style and her Twilight Sparkle. I don't get to see much of it due to filters, but I really do like her humanized Twilight. I think it's the corners of the eyes that isn't so dressed up like Fluttershy's or Rarity's.
 
And if not Twilight, then perhaps Applejack.

I'm very liberal in some ways (e.g., my sensitivity to insensitivity in not acknowledging privilege, my tendencies voting) but I'm also rather conservative in others (e.g., my faith and my adherence to it, self-reliance, a dislike of heavy government influence.) I tend to think that AJ has her own beliefs and would stick to them, but she's accepting of others beliefs. She's also a great athlete, so even though I think we could have some great conversations (or so I'd hope,) it would be awesome to have a girlfriend who would want to play sports with me. And be good at them.

I may be projecting a little here: I met a girl over the summer who was country as all-get-out (read as: very country) and had a very thick Southern drawl to match, but she was very bright and very motivated. She read several books that I've been interested in, and was simply a very charming and attractive girl who was good in a lot of things. (Part of the reason why I chose this image. She likes to be friendly to anyone she meets and is a fun girl to be around. Wish things were a little different so I could have pursued that relationship a bit more.)
 
Fluttershy would be a little too shy for me. I don't like to talk to a person if they don't want to talk back. I would get bored. I know what I think. I want to know what others think. Also, I'm not a fan of animals on the whole. I'd rather watch and observe them. Perhaps I could watch while she tended to them, but that seems like something I would do as a friend as opposed to a date or end up in a relationship with.

Pinkie Pie would get on my nerves immediately. And even if she won me over with her charm (and I have no doubt that she would in time,) it wouldn't make for a great relationship. I think she's be a clingy-type of person if I didn't respond to her as excitedly as she would have wanted me to. And she might think that if I wanted to spend a couple of days to myself that I didn't like her parties and that I didn't want to be her boyfriend anymore. Which would probably kill the relationship dead.

Rainbow Dash would also get on my nerves. And I tend to think of her as being a little self-absorbed. She likes to help, but I don't think that would equate to hanging out on a regular basis. Who knows. Maybe in what we'll see from her in the next few episodes could change my opinion, but as it is now, she doesn't seem to be all that appealing.

I actually would like to date a girl like Rarity. Someone with style and grace. Someone with a sense of fashion. Someone who likes things of a high quality. Someone driven and and more than simply competent. However, I'm very rarely like that. I have my own sense of style, but often can't be bothered to make myself look nice. Rarity always would look nice, and would want the same from whoever she dated. And I don't think we could talk about much. I like to talk about sports and the human condition. She would want to talk about fashion and high-class society. I'd love to be good friends with her though. More than the others minus AJ and Twilight.

Good old day- you've been here for 2 months! And have only been regularly posting for about 2 weeks.
I miss last summer. That was awesome.

I'm thinking that I should start posting here a little more often. I'm not saying that my departure is what caused the shitstorms to happen. I will say though that I could have done something to prevent them, rather than leave without a word. I guess I could do a little more for this thread to help out.

See gigatoast's post on the matter, copypaste reasoning. But in all seriousness, I'm not too sure. I mean, the characters are all desighned to be as likeable as possible. RD, AJ, and Rarity (Egads, too posh) are out right off the bat though.

What a big f@&kin suprise. Why:
1. I'm already madly in love with her. I don't know why exactly. Verbose may have something to say on that.
2. She and I seem like we would get along pretty well.
3. We're both night people. You can see my fires better at night.
4. She needs more love. Maybe is she did 1000 years ago, maybe she wouldn't have turned into Nightmare Moon.
Which brings me to my next choice:
Nightmare Moon herself. A damn close second.
She gives off a projection of beauty and power.
She seems to be pretty smart.
She needs more love. She really does. Poor Moon, all she needs is someone to love her. Maybe she would be nicer if she was loved.

There are my choices. Did you expect anything else?

Rarity: No she is too fancy for me.

Rainbow Dash: I don't do sports so no.

Apple Jack: She might make me work like a dog and I might get whipped by her too. I must say no for those reasons and she might be to much of a busy buddy for me and her to spend actual time together.

Pinkie Pie: I would love to date her and marry her…but I won't and can't just because she is to much of a party animal; I need peace and quiet once in a while and I think she might be unfaithful to me too, because you seen how many people she can be with time to time. I just get paranoid and worried I will lose her…

Twilight: I would love to date Twilight! We can exchange knowledge and she can teach me somethings about the science behind magic and help me how to make a better machine. Me and her would be doing nerdy stuff; like playing Warhammer 40k with out models. (But I am unsure what race she wants to be, possible Chaos). Also me and her are hermits so why not date inside each other's houses?

Fluttershy: She is mai waifu so why the FUCK not? She is sweet, nice, cute, shy, and all sorts of things. I would do anything for her and be nice to her and treat her the nicest way possible! She would teach me about life and the ecosystem that works around in the world and how they all are connected.

Uh… wow. The levels of awkward in this topic are approaching lethal levels. Well, it's not like I've got anything better to do right now, so I guess I'll give it a shot anyway:

Rarity - She would probably annoy the hell out of me. Every time I'd see her she'd be like, "What in Equestria are you wearing?", or "Did you even try to comb your hair this morning?". The worst one would be, "What are you listening to? Is that supposed to be music?". I'd probably benefit from dating someone like that, but I don't know if it would be good for my mental wellbeing. Well, at least she'd be nice to look at.

The Yellow One - Yeah, that probably wouldn't work out too well. She probably wouldn't like the way I speak (I usually speak with a 3:1 curse word to regular word ratio), and she'd probably be disturbed by my preferences in media (chick flick? Nah, let's turn the lights off and play Dead Space). It also wouldn't help that we're both very shy. According to movies, that would be beneficial for us, but in reality it means neither one of us could break the ice, leading to epic levels of awkwardness.

Rainbow Dash - Wouldn't work, I'm not a lesbian I can barely think of a single thing that would make that work. I wouldn't be her type, she wouldn't be my type, and I can't think of a single think we'd have in common. Just… no.

Applejack - … meh. Again, we'd have very little in common, but she seems like she'd at least have the patience to get to know me. She'd probably be a good person to date in general, what with her being honest, dependable and friendly, but that's not enough for a relationship to work. We could probably become good friends, but nothing more.

Pinkie Pie -

Seriously, that wouldn't work at all. As much as I like her personality in the show, can you imagine being around someone that hyperactive for a whole day? It'd drive me insane!

Twilight Sparkle - Hmm… She's probably the only one out of the mane 6 worth considering, but even then it seems like a bad match. While I'd like to think we have similar personalities, in reality we probably don't (actually, scratch that, we almost certainly don't). While we're both a bit geeky, she seems to be a lot more intellectually motivated than me. She could just spend hours pouring through books, while for me, studying usually consists of staring at the walls for hours wishing I could be doing something else. It would be nice to date somebody with academic interests though, since my favourite conversations are always the ones on intellectual topics. Despite that, I still doubt we'd be a good match.

So, in conclusion:

1. Start up conversation of dating ponies.
check!
2 Everyone shares what pony they would date.
check!
3 Everyone here looks like losers!
check!

Rarity: God i hate to end up with her because all she would do is just criticize about how my afro looks in the morning when i don't comb it out ( yes i have an afro no joking ) and she would always say how much of a bad fashion taste i have so id probably end up snapping at her

Fluttershy: Seeing how she's shy like i am about 1/4 of the time id probably work out with her not only that but i love animals too. I mean i do remember saying something about being a vet when i grow up but somehow that changed into a cartoonist

Pinkie pie: When I'm not out being shy mellow and chill I'm out energetic and full of spirit. However seeing how pinkie pie is like this all the time eventually id end up snapping at her so id have to say no

Rainbow dash: well she is my favorite pony but somehow this wouldn't work out because she's a jock and I'm some sort of nerd, artist, chilled out stoner so i have to say no…

Applejack: i imagine she'd end up working me like a dog to harvest all of those apples and seeing how i need alot of sleep to function properly as a human being guess id just end collapsing one day and find myslef to wake up in a hospital bed due to lack of sleep.

Twilight sparkle: it would work seeing how me and her are both nerds i guess it would work, in fact i can already see up talking about our favorite things to do and what we want to be…

In conclusion: Id work out best with twilight and fluttershy- wait a tick…I JUST NOTICED I DIDN'T SPEAK IN ALL CAPS YET! AHHHHHHHHHHHH

I think the only kind of person I'd really enjoy dating would be someone funny and easy going like Pinkie because I'm pretty miserable when I don't feel like I can be myself around people. I've never really been interested in relationships that much at all though because I hate how they can turn into all serious business and drama so quickly for reasons that you can't even control sometimes.

Also if i may ask have do you have a computer on the moon?

Why yes, I do. I managed to salvage some computer parts from a couple of odd white orbs. They seem to have eyes and one woudn't stop yelling the word "space". It's a crude construct, but it serves its purpose. Also, if I may ask, do any of you have Steam accounts? I would love to play some Team Fortress 2 with you all at some time. Here's mine.
Since I have no way of income here on this lunar surface, I have no way of purchasing games, so you'll have to add me. TF2 is the only one I have, and I got it a couple days ago, if you can count moon days the same way as Earth days. I'm not very good yet, but I hope to be soon.
